The Angel of Confusion

About a fallen angel.
PROLOGUE

The whispers danced around my head. Climbing into my ears, possessing my brain. It was what I had to do what I was chosen for. The sky was dark, casting a fog that suffocated even the strongest. The moon was weak hidden by an angry wrath of charcoal colored clouds. The starts had coward away I was alone, completely alone. I stood here waiting, waiting for my enemy, for the battle, for my death or my victory. The wind playfully picked up my long black hair tossing it in the air letting it fall back down, tumbling down my back, past my hips, ending at my ankles. Just for a minute as I took my eyes off the never-ending fog. And watched an owl white as snow with eyes red as fire fly over me, that was a mistake I should have known.

Suddenly the wind howled as if a screaming child has taken its place. The fog became thicker, and the owl swooped down. Fire blazed around me encircling me in a perfect circle. The flames licked the ground screaming up into the night sky. The blazed of the fire caused me to sweat immediately. Finally the air stopped in front of me in midair, with a ray of black cloud that turned like a tornado spitting rocks in every direction I shield my eyes and when I brought down my arm, in front of me he stood. "lacrous" I said surprised by the strength my voice carried. He smiled and spread out his wings as I did mines. The battle started here. Good and evil, strong and weak, angel and demon. at the end one will be left standing one would be victorious.
