The Agent That I Am: Part VI. 2

This is her partner.
Eric's P.O.V.

Eric was lying on his back, starring at the ceiling of his room, he couldn't stop thinking about Juliet. He loved everything about her. The way her brown eyes sparkled like diamonds when she was happy and her laugh was so cute. Her nose would crinkle and her eyes would close when she laughed whole heartily. The way she twirled her hair or played with her locket when in deep thought, she bit her lip when nervous and played with her gum like string when board. But the thing he had loved most since the moment they met, was her smile. Nothing could beat that smile, the dazzling, pearly white, perfect smile. Of course he had only known her for a few days, but it felt like years, wonderful years. One thing was certain, he liked her. It felt a little more than like, not love, but somewhere in the middle.

But then there was stuff that he didn't know, like how she knew dutch or how she could jump from 15 feet up and land with such grace and ease. There's something shes not telling me. he thought, rolling over on his side, while propping up his head on his arm. And then there's that Blake guy. Oh, how he hated him, from the very beginning. Something's just not right with him. Sure he'd only met him once, but once was enough. Then, there was the way he had acted about Juliet. He'd better not try anything, Eric clinched his fist into a tight ball, If he does, he slammed the fist down on the dark blue bed covers. I guaranty he will regret it. Grinding his teeth, Eric stood up walking the length of his room and back, over and over. Then stopped abruptly making a decision, I need to talk to her. It was decided, he would go and see her. I have to find out what she's keeping from me. He sat down on the bed, And I have to tell her how I feel.

Juliet's P.O.V.

As I ran down the damp and darkened streets of London, I thought about my parents.
Yes, they had been spy's, yes I was a spy because of them and yes, they died being spy's.
The day of the ''accident'' replayed in my head.
''Okay honey, time to go.'' My mom called from the first floor of our two story house.
''I'll be right down.'' I replied strapping on my new utility belt. Being the excitable ten year old that I was, I could barely snap the buckle. Running downstairs while hurriedly putting on my coat I wasn't looking where I went, I ran smack-dab into a solid object. Immediately I fell back on my butt.
''Jewl,'' said the solid thing, ''That's a good way to get a concussion.'' I looked up to see my dad smiling down at me, in one fluid motion he hoisted me up and landed me back on my feet. My dad could have easily been a movie star, he had thick dark, chocolate brown hair, deep big brown eyes and tan skin. He stood about 5'10 and most people said he could have replaced Mel Gibson. I agreed with them one-hundred percent.

''Sorry Daddy,'' I brushed myself off, "Mom called me and I didn't want to be late. I know a good spy is never late.'' I looked at his face again, he was still smiling.
''That's right, you are going to make a wonderful spy Jewl.'' He wrapped me in his arms
for a hug, I squeezed his waist with my small arms.
''Are you ready to go?'' The sweet voice of my mother drifted towards us, Dad put me
down and patted my head ruffling my hair.
''Dad stop!'' I brushed his hand away, ''It took me forever to get my hair this way.'' I fixed my hair, trying to pat it down with one hand and fluffing it with the other.
Dad chuckled, ''Yes were all set,'' He called to Mom, ''Oh, stop fussing, you look beautiful.'' I stop fiddling with my locks to look at him and smile.
''You ready for your first mission?'' Mother said coming in, her brown wavy hair bounced off her shoulders as she walked, her green eyes all a sparkle. And you could tell by the way her 5'3 petite, tan body moved, she was excited.
''I can't wait!'' I replied hopping from one foot to the other, clapping my hands. ''My first mission!'' I squealed in delight.

''Alright, let's go.'' Mom placed a dainty hand on my back leading me out the back door to the garage.
We lived in a two story log cabin in the middle of a dense forest, uninhabited formiles. Perfect for a family of spies. We all piled into the small black car, me in the back with my parents in front. I was jumping up and down in my seat, barely containing my excitement. ''So where are we going.'' I asked as the car pulled out of the drive and onto a dirt road.
''It's a watch and observe mission,'' My dad replied, ''Just to get you started.''
''So who are we stalking?'' I asked innocently.
Mother laughed before saying, ''A guy who is smuggling things from another country to ours, using submarines.''
''Cooool,'' I grinned.

We had been driving for about thirty minutes along a cliff that boarded the sea. I gased out over it, transfixed on the green waves. ''It's dangerous being a spy, isn't it?'' I asked out of the blue.
''Of course honey,'' Mother replied, looking back at me, ''You have to be on the alert every second of the day and never let your guard down. Especially, for a pair of big brown eyes.'' She gassed lovingly at Dad, I giggled, they had met on a mission.
Both on opposite sides, but when they saw each other, it was love at first sight.
''I thought I was the one who let down my guard for the reckless beauty.'' Dad smiled
at her, she laughed. It was so cute to watch them together.
''Did you stop being spies when I was born?'' I asked
''We did for a while,'' Dad replied

''But continued after a year. The agency was lost without us.'' Mom finished I giggled.
''You were so cute as a baby, we weren't sure if we wanted you to be a spy.'' She continued,
''But then when you were five, you found our secret room behind the library bookshelf, and you asked us questions, we had to tell you.'' Dad said
''So we taught you self defense, different languages, shelf and about the gadgets.''
''You were doing great,''
''But then one day at school you gave that boy a bloody nose.'' Mom laughed
''Well he deserved it.'' I said angrily, remembering back two years ago, ''He had said my parents were losers, because you never showed up for the parent teacher meetings, class events, or career day. My nanny always went. I told him to take it back, he mocked me and gave me a hard shove, so that I fell. When I had stood back up, I said that he was a loser, and an idiot, and his parents couldn't even hold a candle to mine.
That's when he took a swing at me, which I blocked easily. He threw another punch, again I blocked it. Then he called me a B, that's when I hit him and he was on the ground, holding his nose and whining.''

''Becky told us what happened and that you had gotten in trouble with the princable.'' Dad pointed out
''Yeah, well, it was worth it.'' I replied
Both of them laughed, ''That's my girl.'' Dad said proudly
''You mean my girl.'' Mom playfully argued
''No, I don't.''
''Excuse me?''
''I said-''
''Hey!'' I yelled interrupting them, ''I'm both of yours.''
''I guess we can't argue about that.'' Dad agreed
''And now here you are on your first mission. We are so proud of you.''
''Thanks, I love you guys.'' I hugged them from behind.
I glanced up ahead, and saw a sharp turn around a cliff, ''Dad,...''
''I know sweetheart,'' he said acknowledging it.
I calmed a bit, but when he failed to slow, I got worried. "Dad?"
"The brakes aren't working." He said, stomping on the pedal. "And neither is the steering wheel!"

I started to panic, "Quick! Try the doors!" I said, pulling on the handles of the back doors.
"They won't open!" Mother said trying her door.
"No! No! No! This can't be happening!" I screamed
"Jewl, brake the window!" My dad ordered,
I obeyed, I took both of my feet and kicked the side window, shattering the glass.
"Now jump Honey!" Mom said, with tears in her eyes,
"What about you and Dad." I asked
"Will, be fine." She reassured me.
Tears were rolling down my checks, "But-"
"No." Mom said, "Just know that we will always love you."
"Now jump!" Dad commanded
I turned, gazed one last time into my parents eyes, and saw the love they had for me. Then I jumped. I hit the ground with such force that I went rolling. Whipping my head around, I caught a glimpse of the back of the car, before it crashed through the metal barrier, and disappeared out of sight.

Then there was a massive explosion, a huge fireball went shooting to the sky. And I knew they weren't coming back.
For I don't know how long, I sat on the side of the road, staring at the crushed and twisted barrier. I couldn't move. I couldn't think. My parents life's had been ended right in front of me. I guess you could say that I was in a state of shock.
Eventually, some kind stranger happened to drive by, they picked me up and took me to the police station.
As soon as it was reported that my parents were dead, the agency snapped me up and made their death look like an accident.
Not long after, I was placed with my aunt and uncle, they immediately took me in.
Happy to help me in any way they could. They never found out what happened, or who I really was.

I shook the thoughts from my head, they were starting to make me cry. Buck up girl. I told myself. One day you'll get even with that Son of a Snake that killed your parents.
I forced myself to keep running, now was not the time for tears. I had a mission to complete.
What did you think of the death scene?
Okay
Good
Great
