Here is the second chapter, hope you like it. Oh, and thanks to all the people that commented. Keep 'em coming, I love to hear from you.
Part II

I looked at the guy standing in front of me and was speechless. I'm never, and I mean never speechless. I was trained to be ready for any situation, but this was ridiculous. ''Hi, I'm Eric Shepherd, you dropped this.'' He smiled at me. He had an English accent and the bluest ocean eyes, I had ever seen. He handed me the papers I dropped, I took them from his hand. ''Thank you,'' was all I could say before looking down. 'Stop it!' I told myself, 'You're acting like a fool.' ''Have I seen you before?'' he asked me. 'Yah, I'm the one that saved your butt yesterday.' I thought. Looking up, I lied and said ''I don't think so.''

''Oh, well, you look familiar.'' He looked me over, ''You must be new here, huh?'' He smiled. ''Ya, I'm new, I-'' At that minuet the bell rang. ''Oh, I have to get to class,'' I said, quickly looking at my schedule, slamming my locker door and running to class leaving Eric behind. School went as school usually does, nothing important happened. I was just starting to walk home, when I heard my name being called behind me. I stopped, turned around and saw Eric running down the sidewalk after me. ''Juliet! Hey wait up!'' He caught up to me and panted a little before speaking again.

''I was hoping I- uh, maybe I could- you know.....'' He sighed and looked down. ''Can I walk you home?'' He finally asked, looking at me pleadingly. I really didn't want him to walk me home, I mean come on, I don't even know the guy. But he looked so cute, like a sad puppy. ''Yes'' 'What did I just say?' ''Yes, you may walk me home.'' Every part of me was screaming 'NO!', but I didn't listen, which again wasn't like me. We started to walk back to my house.

''So....uh, where are you from? Since you don't have an accent you must not be English.'' He was obviously trying to make conversation. ''No, I'm not. I'm from the states.'' ''Cool I've never been. Hey, uh.. could I show you a shortcut?'' Eric asked. ''Uh, sure.'' I said, not quite certain of what was going to happen. He grabbed my hand and pulled me through a tall hedge we were walking past. ''Ouch,'' I said as I got a couple of scratches on my arms from being pulled through.

I looked up and saw that we were in a park and it was the same park that was across the way from my house. ''You really should warn a person before you go pulling them through bushes,'' I said while picking leaves off my pants and shirt. ''Oh, are you okay?'' asked Eric ''I'm fine, but you're still holding my hand,'' I gave him a look. ''Oh sorry,'' he let go and we started to walk down the gravel path. ''So why did you want to show me that shortcut?'' I looked at him questioningly. ''I thought you might like seeing the park.'' He said sheepishly. ''Oh, well, that was very sweet of you.'' I looked at him through the corner of my eye and saw him blush.

We were almost at my house when I said ''My uncle is throwing a housewarming party on Saturday. You can come if you want.'' ''Really?'' He looked at me in shock. ''Sure, I mean it will be boring with all the adults and we could talk. But only if you want to come.'' By this time I could see my house from where we were, ''Well that's my house,'' I said pointing to it. ''Well....I guess, this is where I say goodbye,'' Eric said rubbing the back of his neck. ''Ya, uh... thank you for walking me home'' I said before running towards the house. ''See you tomorrow,'' I yelled while looking back at him. ''Ya, uh, see you tomorrow,'' he said before I disappeared into my house.

When I got inside, I saw my aunt in the kitchen flipping through a cookbook. ''What'cha doing?'' I asked while raiding the refrigerator. ''I'm looking at some recipes for the party.'' She had finally settled on a page and started to read it. ''How was your first day at school?'' she asked not looking up from the book. ''It was okay,'' I started to fill a bowl with chedder chips (my favorite) and got a can of rootbeer out of the fridge. ''I invited someone to the party, I hope that's okay.'' I grabbed a stool at the counter and sat down so that I was across from her. ''That's fine, who is it?'' She flipped to another page.

''Just someone I met at school.'' I said as I sipped my soda, sparing the details because I didn't want her grilling me. But, no such luck. ''Spill Jewel, I want a name and face.'' ''Fine,'' I was defeated. ''His name is Eric Shepherd and-'' ''Oh, so it's a boy is it?'' she said eyeing me. ''Yes, Aunt, it's a boy. Anyway, I invited him and he's coming. Nothing else.'' I stated in a matter-of-fact-way. ''Uh huh, sure. So that's it then?'' Now, she had stopped looking at the cookbook and bore into me with those green eyes of hers. ''Look, I would love to stay down here and play twenty questions with you, but I'm not going to.'' And with that, I got up, grabbed my food, and started up the stairs.

''Don't worry, I won't embarrass you.... too much....'' she yelled behind me. I sighed and went to my room. Once there, I put my food on my bed and started to look through my movie collection. My T.V. was right across from my bed, and I finally settled on Hangmans Curse. I love that movie. When I finished watching it, my clock said it was 4:17, so I ended up watching Jurassic Park 1 and 2. By the time I was finished it was 7:30, so I picked out a random book on my book shelf and saw it was Monster by Frank Peretti, one of my favorites. I sat on my bed and started to read.

When I put the book down and looked at my clock it was 9:30, so I got ready for bed, said my prayers and got into bed. I kept thinking about Eric, there was just something about him that I kinda liked. The next day I awoke at 4:00 a.m. again, I kinda liked waking up this early. When the sun hasn't come up yet and no one is awake. It's peaceful in a way. Anyhow, I decided to get ready for school, I put on a rainbow T with black stars, jeans, and black sneakers. I wore my hair in a sideways ponytail and put on my special watch. By the time I got downstairs, it was six. I got cereal and started to eat while sitting at the island counter. I had almost finished when I heard Aunt and Uncle getting up, I hurried to scarf down my food before my uncle came downstairs. I didn't want him to question me about Eric, I just knew he would grill me too!

Then I heard footsteps coming, I didn't have much time. So I left my bowl on the counter and ran for the door, but I wasn't fast enough. Right before my hand reached the door handle, I heard ''Now where do you think your going, little missy?'' 'Busted' I thought. I turned around to face Joe. ''To school,'' I stated frankly. ''It's only 6:30, you got time,'' he said smiling. ''Ya, but I wanna get going,'' I said handing for the door again. ''Oh no, you are going to tell me about this Eric fella, before you go to school. Now park it,'' he said pointing to a stool. I sighed, walked over and sat down. ''Now where did you meet him?''

I told him the story of when I saw him in the park, and at school, but didn't tell him about the bully. I didn't want to give him too much information, because I knew he would worry. ''Okay, I have to go now or I'm going to be late.'' I grabbed my backpack and ran out the door. I ran all the way to school. When I got there I went straight to my locker, shoved my backpack in and stared at it, deep in thought. Snapping out of it, I grabbed my books and closed the door, startled to see that same scarface bully standing right behind it, staring straight at me. I ignored him, turned on my heel and walked away. I turned a corner, but as I was walking, I could hear his footsteps behind me. 'Great' I thought. 'Just great.' then someone turned me around and slammed my back against the lockers. It was him!

With my back against the lockers, there wasn't much I could do, plus I didn't think the school would appreciate it if I beat one of there students to a bloodly pulp, even if he did deserve it.

Unfortunately, there weren't any people around, so he could do whatever he wanted and get away with it. That was also good for me, because it meant I could do the same. He pinned my shoulder against the wall with one of his hands, and held onto the wall with the other. ''Now, I have a bone to pick with you. No one beats me up and gets away with it, nobody,'' He smirked. ''But, since you are a girl, I'll let it slide, for a price.'' ''No way!'' I yelled ''Oh come on, one little kiss wouldn't hurt ya.'' ''In your dreams pretty boy!'' He smirked again, ''I've got you where I want you, and you can't do a thing about it.'' He started to lean closer to me. ''Wanna bet?'' I slammed my books into his chest which sent him flying to the opposite wall.

He smirked again, 'Ya know, that smirk is really starting to bug me.' ''It's going to take more than that to scare me off.'' He stood up and walked back over to me. ''I still haven't received my payment.'' He said leaning over me. ''I don't like what your suggesting,'' I said trying to keep my distance. ''Oh, come on, just one kiss, admit it, you like me.'' He came closer. ''Never!'' I yelled and pushed him, but he kept his balance and shoved me into a locker that just happened to be open behind me. ''Oh, dearie, you'll warm up to me,'' he said then closed the door, leaving me in the dark. ''And until you do,'' I heard a click, ''You can just stay in there.'' ''Let me out!!'' I screamed. ''In due time sweetheart. I'll come back later and collect my prize.'' ''Let me out!!'' I started to bang on the door with my fists. All I heard was a chuckle, footsteps, then silence. I tried the handle, locked.

'I have to get out of here before he gets back.' I didn't even want to think of what he would do to me. 'Payment! Prize! No stink'en way! Oh, yeh I'll kiss him, when hell freezes over!' I started to fiddled with my watch to find the right button I finally found the button and pushed it. A little green laser appeared and I started to cut a hole where the lock would be. I told ya, my watch was special. I cut the hole, pushed the door open and fell flat on my face. Guess who was right there in front of me. Yup, Eric. ''Oh, are you okay?'' He asked helping me up. ''I'm fine.'' I said sounding irritated. ''What were you doing in a locker?'' he asked me. ''Studying geometry, what do you think I was doing!'' I yelled. He looked at me funny. ''Look, sorry I yelled, it's just this jerk shoved me in a locker after I wouldn't.....do something.'' I looked down.

''Who was it?!'' His hands clenched into fists. ''This blonde haired dude, big teeth, kind of gangly,'' I said while picking up my books that spilled all over the ground. ''I'm sorry, who?'' He asked while helping me. ''That bully. You know, I'm going to take your lunch money kind of bully.'' I stood up. ''I think your talking about Frank. He's the school bully.'' He handed me my books. ''Yeh, the jerk, Frank suites him. Anyway, I better get to class.'' I started to walk away, with my head slightly down. ''I'll walk you there.'' Eric came and walked beside me. ''Thanks.'' I looked at him. ''Hey, someone has to keep you out of trouble.'' He smiled at me, I smiled back as we walked to our classes.
What do you think?
Frank's a jerk!
I love it! Keep it up.
I like it, not love.
Plz continue.
