My aunt knew, she knew. I'm so confused how she found out about my powers. I looked at her, and started to cry. You LIAR You knew this whole time and you didn't say anything. You didn't even try to help me, you couldn't at least fill me in on the slightest clue what was going on. You just watched me, knowing this whole time what would happen to me, and you said nothing.
I ran out of the house as fast as I could, away, and I didn't know where I was going, I just had to get away. Everyone around me was lying to me this whole time, and I don't know who to trust, I can't even trust myself or my powers. Then as I came to a stop I saw it where I was being taken to the graveyard where my parents were buried. I came face to face with my mom and dad. I was crying saying Mom "Dad please help me I'm so confused I don't know who to trust anymore. Help me." Then my hand moved to my parent's grave, but I didn't move it, it was my powers they were moving it, and then my hand glowed. I watched it glow and then I fell with my eyes closing.
I woke up seeing a beautiful ocean, sand, flowers, colors, everything beautiful you could imagine, all in one world. As I was taking in all this beauty I saw two figures walk up to me, people I recognized. My mom and Dad, they walked up to me "Hi sweetie" my mom said looking like an angel "Look how much you've grown" my dad said.Mom, dad I said what?? How?? How is this possible?? "Well this is your favorite memory of us all on the beach" you loved this place. You felt safe here, so this is where you were taken, the place where you feel most safe in, my mom said, and you added in these flowers that we picked together. "Listen Kahlan you don't have much time but you need to listen to John, he needs to protect you my dad said, but don't listen to...
My parents were fading. Mom, dad, your fading, " Wait Don't Go, please don't leave me here alone" Sweetie stay with me now don't listen to your... but she was gone I couldn't hear or see her. She was gone. I woke up in Johns arms. "Kahlan you're alive. Thank god. You had me worried sick, are you ok, did anyone hurt you, he said looking at me with those gorgeous brown eyes No I'm ok, just went to visit somewhere for a while.
"Let me take you to my house so you can rest, and then when you wake up we'll finish our talk" john said. But before john could turn around and I caught his arm saying, "Thanks you've been such a good friend to me I said smiling.
Johns POV
I put her in the car, she fell asleep quickly. I wanted to train her to make her strong. There was so much I had to tell her, and then I had to train her. Thing is I might be falling in love with her. I don't know how that happened, I mean I barely know her, but I am. Every time I look at her I feel like I might kiss her, but I know I can't, were not allowed to be together I know the outcome of her destiny, and if I fall in love with her she'll get hurt and so will I, and I just don't think I could handle that.
