That's What a Teeenagers Life is All About - Chap 3 Rewrite

I woke up the next morning still holding my mom's picture in which she was holding me. I didn't want to get out of the bed but somehow convinced myself.

I decided to wear a blue jean skirt which ended just above my knees with a sleeveless top, this style was different as compared to my usual clothes I had worn previously at school but I desperately wanted a change.

I quickly gathered my books and went downstairs where Sam and Alex were already eating their breakfast.

"Good morning venny" Alex said

"God knows from where he searched this nickname Alex I' am not a five-year old stop calling me that stupid name" I said annoyingly

"What's with the bad mood the first day at shoot didn't go well??"

"No, it was quite nice" I said grabbing an apple

"Well good coz I can't drive you to school today"

"Why too tired from last night, by the way how was last night had fun with Angela????" I said trying to suppress my giggles

"Gosh! venny stop it you are still too small for these things"

"Oh please I am sixteen for god's sake stop treating me like a baby" I said

" whatever Sam is gonna drop u to school today"

"What me???" for the first time Sam said anything during the whole conversation.

"Oh no it's fine I'll just walk" I said
"Wait a second u don't even know the streets properly" Alex said
I told u he's kinda overprotective

"It's fine Alex I'm not a small child kk bye!"
"Bye I said slowly looking towards Sam" no response from him.as usual

I said grabbing my bage and moving out of the house.

I was standing at my locker when Chrissie came to me and excitedly asked me

"So how was the first day?"
"It was nice actually"
"See, I told you but whatever did u meet any stars"
"Well yeah, I met Josh Drew who is extremely charming and cool..... and "
"Hey.. hey.. she said cutting me off wait is it I am only thinking or someone really has a big crush on Drew"
"Well maybe....."
"Too bad you are playing his sister and Nate's Girlfriend."
"Ah! please don't take his name and ruin my day, but by the way I thought they were enemies in reel life but I don't think they are much of friends in real life too" but before she could answer I saw Nate behind coming toward Chrissie with Ashley, Vee and the other guy from that day

"I'll meet u later" I said to Chrissie as I really didn't ever wanted to see Vee's face again but Chrissie stopped me and said " wait Vanessa u can't run from them they are in this school and some time or other you will have to face them"

Before I could argue they all came towards our locker

"Hey Chrissie,Vanessa " Nate said
"Hey" Chrissie said half heartedly
"So who is this beautiful new girl" Vee said who had a smirk on his face
When Nate was talking to Ashley and Chrissie Vee leaned forward
and gently said in my ear so no one could hear
"You are a really good kisser by the way"

I felt so angry and disgusted I slammed the locker and went to my class without even looking back at Chrissie who was calling my name.

NATE'S POV

When I was walking towards Chrissie and Vanessa. They both were talking like best friends. I Hadn't seen Chrissie being so friendly to anyone except me but then Vanessa is something different.

When we reached there I saw Vanessa's smile disappearing as soon as she saw Vee and me. after sometime I was about to apologize when she suddenly slammed her locker and went away despite Chrissie calling her out her name

"What is with her" I asked Chrissie when everyone except me had gone.

"Well you are asking me what is with her?"
"I don't feel like talking to you after what u did" she said angrily
"What the hell I should be the one angry coz u didn't tell me she's my new co-star and u are getting angry and what did I do?"

That's when she told me everything about what happened between Vanessa and Vee and it became obvious why she's so angry
But before I could say anything the bell rang and we had to go to classes.

VANESSA'S POV

That stupid, jerk Nate and Vee I seriously have to think something to destroy them.That's when I hit the jackpot. As I was walking down the hallway I saw Ashley making out with Vee in an empty classroom.
Disgusting but good for me. I took out my cell phone and make a short video of there make out session.

Now what would destroy Nate's reputation more
A. That Mr. superstar's GF. is making out with someone else and cheating on poor him or
B. That he gets dumped by Ashley.

I started weighing my both the options and went to class

The first 4 periods were fine. Our teacher Mr. Mathews who taught English told us about some literature project for which we'll be paired according to a surprise test he gave us, most people don't like these kinda tests but it's fine with me coz I do study when I get home coz I wanna go to a med school( dorky! I know)

But what was irritating me more was the fact that I had to shoot with Nate in next some four hours and I hadn't even read the script once.

So at lunchtime I was reading the script sitting with Chrissie, Nate was sitting in front of her with Ashley and some others.

"What are u reading even in lunchtime" Evan asked me
I couldn't tell them the truth so I just lied " nothing just a test in the last period"
When Nate looked and said " we don't have a test in last period and leaned to see what I was reading"

He saw it and chuckled " wait u actually read that"
"Well yeah some of us care about G.P.A"
He said nothing and Chrissie asked taking care no one could care.

"So what is in the scene."
"It's a little kinda dorky Julie is new to Beverly Hills and Jake( Nate's character in the show) has gotten into a bet with friends that he has to seduce Julie. He kisses her and they kinda start making out on street after which Jake asks her to be his G.F and she totally refuses and bla bla bla........

"But according to Henry the scene has to be 'intimate' as these kisses will make her fall for Jake"

"Man! this show is really becoming R- rated day by day" Julie said
"Yeah, tell me about it and worst part is god, I'll have to kiss Nate" I said making fake sick noises......

As I was walking out of the school I got the most pleasant surprise
out on the road was Josh leaning at his red sports car.

"So waiting for anyone?" I asked innocently

"Yeah, a girl about 5''6 really pretty with a cute smile. Have you seen her anywhere??"

"Well maybe, but why should I tell you?"

"Ok enough fooling around, he said smiling I thought maybe you'd like to
go with me to the location"

"Well, my honor" I said flirtatious and slipped into a dazzling sports car.

"Nice car by the way"

"Thanks birthday present. Too bad you missed it"

"Don't' worry there will be other birthdays" I said

As we reached to the location I was stepping out of the car when Josh said

"Best of luck for your first day" and kissed my cheek
"Thanks" I said as I stepped out of the car.

When I was entering the school Nate again called me from behind

"Vanessa!"

"What Nate are u stalking me or what."
"He looked a little amused. Well I would stop following me if u listen to me."

"We are getting late so we'll talk later" I said moving away.

"Wait!" he said grabbing my hand and spinning me around.

"Now listen to me," he said in an authoritative voice before I could cut him off.

"I know you are angry with me but I didn't have anything to do with what happened that day with Vee and what you heard when I was talking to Ashley had nothing to do with it. I didn't even know about it until yesterday when Chrissie told me. Yeah I thought u were some arrogant girl and I didn't take your audition but still I could never do anything like this to u." he said with complete sincerity

"Either he's a really good liar or he's telling the truth" I thought

"I felt really bad for ignoring him and treating him badly so I decided......"

"Listen" I said " I am really sorry I just...... "

"It's ok Vanessa I understand maybe we can be friends..."

"Yeah why not," I said as we started to go inside.

When he suddenly stopped and I hope you are not that disgusted to kiss me as you sounded in cafeteria"

I turned red hearing that

"You were listening to our conversation"

"What" he said defensively "you were too loud plus I am a really good kisser," he said smiling

"Conceited" I remarked and we walked inside the school.

So everyone ready Henry shouted "lights, camera Action!"

TYE- "hey yo! Jake"
Jake- "hey man what's up"
TYE- "nothing dude so here is the new girl. Hope you remember our little bet"
JAKE- "of course man this is too easy I bet she'll be jumping to be my girlfriend"
TYE- "whatever go on......"

I went where Julie was standing the school was over and hallway was empty except me and her.

"Hey Julie"

VANESSA'S POV

"Hey Julie I am Jake"
"Hey"
"So um.... how was the first day"
"Fine I guess "

I said and when I was about to turn around Jake grabbed me by my waste and spun me around and I was leaning my full weight was on the locker behind us. When Jake leaned forward and brushed his lips on mine. I was so startled I couldn't think anything. His lips started moving against mine. His kiss was so deep and intoxicating I forgot that this was all a scene and it didn't matter for a second that at least 50 people were around us watching this. My hands reflexly flew around his neck and ii started kissing him back. Just as about his tongue was about to enter my mouth he pulled back and asked

"Hey, beautiful will you be my girlfriend" he asked smiling

I forgot everything that this wasn't reality neither was he really asking me to be his girlfriend and words flew out of my mouth

"Yeah, sure" I said

"Yes? " He asked confused

Just then Henry shouted " cut!!!"

"Yes?? he looked confused. Julie is supposed to refuse Jake"
"What are u doing Vanessa check up the lines"

Julie, Jake that's when reality came back to me. And I was read with embarrassment I couldn't even look at anyone.

"What was I thinking and why did his kiss seemed so perfect??? shut up" I thought.

However the rest of the shoot was pretty awesome and Henry even praised me to be a really nice actor at the end of the day.

Nate had gone outside maybe home but I didn't even wanna see him.
I don't know why I thought it would be pretty awkward.

When I was heading home when Josh came

"Hey Vanessa pretty good acting out there!! just messed with some lines".

I knew what he was talking about and I was quite embarrassed

"Yeah guess your good luck didn't work this time"

"Maybe this will work next time," Josh said as he leaned forward lifted up my face with his finger and kissed me

Kiss was the most sweet and gentle kiss. But still was enough to make me melt in his arms. However it didn't last much long when we broke free. I was freakingly blushing with a red face when he asked me

"So beautiful would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend."

And this time I definitely knew what to say

"Well the honor would be mine" I said

He smiled at my comment and again leaned forward to kiss me.............
