That Shooting Star
First post, comment please :) "Ember was a normal teenage girl. Until something horrible happened to her family. They were attacked by vampires. This moment, when she sees a shooting star, she makes a wish. The one she thinks is the right thing. Oops.
Change. Change was what I needed. After the incident, I needed change.
I cried of events of my life took a toll. I curled up in my little ball, like I'd used to after a nightmare and I didn't want to wake my parents and be a big girl.
When I saw those vampires grab my mother's neck, I didn't know what they were, or what they were doing. When the fangs came out and there eyes changed to orange, and after that too red, I knew what it was. I hadn't asked for this.
I might have had family issues, but nothing more than an argument over where to eat, truly. When I saw him go for my father I was too confused to move. But when he went for Mackenzie I couldn't take it. I ran out of my room doorway, where I had been griping the frame so hard, I'd dug my fingers deep into the wall. I choked on my breath and let my fist connect with the thing's face and screamed in pain as my hand began to hurt in an unbearable pain.
Mackenzie was crying as the other the other one shook her body to one side to move her head in that direction, and brushed her flaming red hair to the side.
"NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I heard myself flying forward clenching my injured hand. I kicked the thing. He didn't budge-and the I was clutching my leg. Great.
"What are you?" I said on the floor, curled in a half ball, sobbing extremely. "We are what we are. Vampires." The tall blonde man says. I sobbed "What the-your freaks!" I sobbed again.
The brunette girl shook her head and bent over my sister's neck.
"NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please! Take me, spare her, please, please, please! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Hmmmmmm......" The man said. Tears stained my face. I choked on my wet breathe. I looked up in his eyes and he said news that made me gasp........
This is my first story, but I'm posting one immediately after this. But this one will have a poll connected to it every time I upload, so you guys vote for what happens next. I hope you guys liked this! :-)
