Thanks To The Luck of My Life
Just to say thanks to my mother for what all she has done.
The day we are born on this planet, all types of future predictions are made for us. Predictions according to our name, birth date, birth time and what not are made just to ensure that we have a secure future and what could be the solution to some of the major problems in the life ahead. Guesses telling with what luck whether good or bad are we born or how lucky or unlucky we would be in future are made. Be it any religion, any culture or any custom luck is a major navigator of every single individuals life. Today as I look back at my childhood and teenage days I feel fortunate to say that I was born not with luck rather born to the luck of my life. Yes I was born to ‘luck’. In the times when the world prayed for a baby boy in their families my luck prayed hard for me and thanked God when the ‘mannat’ was fulfilled. Since then it nurtured me,brought me up and shielded me against all ills of the world. It was my luck that smiled at me when I was good and also felt bad when I was wrong.
God only writes everybody’s destiny, fortune and luck but my luck taught me how to spell God, have faith in God and admire God. My luck brought out all my hidden talents and polished them, taught me the best of virtues and guided me to a straight, honest and dignified path. All this was done not by reading the motivating quotes or stories of great men but by working along with me.
My luck always told me that though food is most essential for your survival but its your qualities, talent and approach to life which will help you to make a niche for yourself in this tough world. Luck’s respect for life and time always explained me their beauty and importance. I still value the lesson learnt then "Everybody lives their life but only a few with something special in them can lead their life on the path dreamt by them". Instead of crying on destiny my luck inspired me in making my hard work my destiny. My luck was a bit different from other, On my achievements, it appreciated me for my hardwork rather than taking away the credit saying "hey its because of your good luck" and in bad times lended me support and gave me strength by saying don’t worry "I am there, I’ll set things right for you".
Now when I am a grown up, married and trying for new heights in both my personal and professional life, People comment "Oh,how lucky you are to have such a supporting and caring husband". Yes, I am lucky that my supporting and caring husband was selected by my luck for me, my luck always knew what is the best for me and believed that good people can always make money but money can never make good people. It got me a person who understands my dreams and thinks a lady can excel both at personal and professional front.
My lucks sincerity and excellence in every field be it baking of cakes, decorating of house, playing spellway and managing the profession gave me confidence that even I could handle all the responsibilities well when needed.
My luck smiles at me, cries for me, fights for me but never pleads for me. She is very modern with the required ethnic touch and very soft with the required tough touch. Yes, all guesses right, she is the luck of my life who has put my life on the right track. We all have this good luck and be it mine or somebody else’s ,all luck teach only one thing "Don’t worry, work hard, be happy, enjoy life; for all problems and bad things I am there". Indeed I am lucky to born to my ‘luck’,my mom.
