A poem about televised political debates…
Television
"The broadcasting of a still or moving image via radiowaves to receivers that project a view of the image on a picture tube"....
Debate
"A formal contest in which the affirmative and negative sides of a proposition are advocated by opposing speakers"....
Reality
"Something that exists independently of ideas concerning it.....
something that exists independently of all other things and from which all other things derive"...
Truth
"The true or actual state of a matter"
So....
Televised debates are a contest
which distort reality and create unrest,...
nobody really knows or tells the truth,....
about the foreign wars that kill our youth.
