Teenage Princess

This story begins back when dragons existed and love was true. Rose bloomed with the love of the people. The land was peaceful and people were kind.

"My lady, you may enter now" Sarahleigh said. "Thank you Madame" I said quietly. I walked towards the throne looking at my surroundings. "Bow before me young apprentice" King Century Knight said. I bowed and then knelled silently. "You have been called upon young lady because you are being sent else where" He said. I looked at him shocked and shook my head. " We are shipping you to a new country. I assure you that it will be safer for you my dear princess" Century said. I sighed and then nodded. So off I went.

Once I arrived ,I hadn't a clue as to where I was. It was big here compared to the small village I was used to, Absolutely confusing at most.

When I got to my location it was a normal place. Brilliant they had given me the wrong address. I dug in my bag for the message I wasn't supposed to read till I got here. As I opened it, I began to read. "Princess Gloom, we have assigned you to live here as a normal girl. No longer will you be my daughter. We have put you in the hands of this family to be raised as a teen girl" I read. As I continued on the letter, I realized I had the right address.

I knocked on the door and stayed silent. A boy probably not much older then me answered the door. " Hello" he said. I stood there like a fool not quiet sure of what to say. Without a thought I quickly turned away. " You must be Miss. Gloom" He said. I turned back facing him and nodded. He invited me in and spoke to me of why I was here. Which meant I would be starting something called school tomorrow...

A couple weeks later, I had finally adjusted to my surroundings. It was taking me a while to adjust to the whole get up for school thing. But I was managing. My main problem was, this boy was really sweetie. I believe I was falling in love with him. He was always nice to me and I just couldn't help it. But he might not feel the same. So I would just wait for the right time to ask.

I quietly sat in my room reading the latest copy of Lara Adrian's breed mate series. These books were my life. A skip out of reality made me forget school or forget that I wasn't exactly a normal girl. It made me think that possibly one day, I could find someone just right for me. Maybe not as handsome or strong. Not as smart or heroic. But someone who would love me for being me. Not because I was a princess, or because I had all the riches, But because I was plain old me... And maybe that someone, was someone I knew....

I set the table and turned off the stove as I finished cooking supper. Adam would arrive home soon, most likely tired for a long day. So I thought I would attempt to make supper tonight. It smelt good, though it looked kind of... funny. I heard the front door open and close as I set the food down on the table. He walked in the kitchen and looked at the table. " You cook?" He asked. "I try to cook, So no promises it's any good" I said. He laughed a bit. "Only one way to find out I suppose"...
