Start of a new story I'm writing. What do you think? Suggestions? Kayla x.
Slowly, ever so hesitantly, the darkness creeped away and her eyes came into focus. The moon was high in the sky, a glowing orb of light. At first, there was nothing else. But eventually, she saw. She saw the shadowed trees around her, the soft damp grass around her. Confused, she shut her eyes. "Go away, go away, it isn't real, it isn't real". Tentatively, she prised her unwilling eyes open. As she took in her surroundings, accepted her fate, a glistening tear made it's slow and solemn path down her face.
