Tea Sip And Me

I am morning tea's need.....
Tea Sip And Me
Sleep was evading me like never before.
My eyes were wide open till morning four.
An hour later heard was the sound of birds.
Early walkers were playing building of words.
It was fun watching that intellectual bunch.
Their walk and talk made them pant and perch.
Some pets made their masters run out of breath.
These dogs were happy to be out of kennels’ breadth.
Dawn’s darkness gave way to morning sunlight.
Sky’s blue was growing deep and bright.
Windows and doors swung open for the fresh air to enter.
Irritating was the noise of brooms clearing the litter.
Crows were cawing at the top of their ugly voice.
Sparrows and mynahs were flying with the partner of their choice.
Yet another day opened in this world.
Life’s routine couldn’t be kept on hold.
How can I be an exception to this cycle?
With sleepy eyes I went towards my bicycle.
Mornings were incomplete without me.
Everyone needed a newspaper beside tea.
Dropped at every door step was this.
But I can’t read a line lest school I was sure to miss.
