Tango Dance

Tango dance is one of the very well acclaimed dance forms amongst the others in the league. Let's find out more about this sensuous dance forms of all time.
Now known as a highly popular romantic dance for couples, tango dance was then (in the past) apparently only performed by women in the early 20th century. Quite hard to believe as all those who have seen a dance performance would agree how passionate, intimate and sensual this dance form is and it is indeed quite unimaginable to see not a man and a woman dancing but instead, a single woman dancing and expressing the romanticism and passion alone, all by herself.

Yes, of course there are contemporary dance forms where one can perform solo and do exceptionally well and at the same time be successful in capturing the audiences attention and bringing them into the dance and make them experience all those intense emotions but, tango is something that has evolved so much and we are so used to see this dance form to be performed by a couple; that performing alone or a solo performance simply does not seem to be captivating enough.

The whole essence of it is the emotion, that's what this dance is driven by and that too not just the emotions of one person by both the parties. To talk a little about the tango dance history, South America was where tango originated but it has evolved over the time and is influenced by different cultures. In fact it developed as one of the most desired dance forms for couples since the time it spread into Argentina and Argentina. Here are some dance steps that you can go through.

Steps For the Man For the Lady
I Take your right foot at the back Take your left foot forward.
II Now to the side, taking a long step pass your left foot to the right foot. Ladies, let your right foot pass the left foot to the side.
III In a forward motion, pass your right foot to left foot, outside your partner. In a backward motion, pass left foot to the right foot.
IV Bring your left foot forward. Get your right foot at the back.
V Bring your right foot close to your left foot. Cross your left foot in front of your right foot.
VI Repeat the IV step, bring your left foot forward. And bring your right foot at the back again.
VII With pivot to the left on left foot, pass your right foot to left foot on the side. With pivot to the left on right foot, pass your left foot to the right foot on the side.
VIII Bring your left foot close to the right foot. Bring your right foot close to the left foot.

These were some very basic steps of this dance form and it may seem quite confusing until you try them and practice them. Tango is an art and one can only get perfect with a lot of dedication and passion and of course especially for a dance like tango, passion holds utmost importance. Rhythm is another important factor that plays a very key role in this Latin dance. To get the rhythm right, one must get familiar with the tango music, it is imperative to listen to a lot of tango music, get in sync with the music, understand it, feel it within and only then would the steps come right, no matter how crisp you are with your steps otherwise.
