Talk to Me 2
A different version of my first poem...but the title's pretty explanatory
Talk to me.
Tell me hi,
Come on, tell me anything
If you don’t I just might cry.
All you do is stare at me,
Whenever you walk by,
Why can’t you just say hi to me?
If you don’t I’ll surely die.
This feeling that I have,
Has transformed to a roller coaster,
Your eyes send lightning through me,
And I feel like a freaking poster.
And yet your presence throttles me
When you leave I heave a sigh;
My heart has trouble pounding for me,
And the air my lungs defy.
I wonder if you have the same feelings
If you don’t I’d be okay,
At least that’s what I’d tell you,
On the outside anyway.
In the end the only thing I’d be scared to hear,
Words my ears would easily deny,
Is the moment when your lips would say,
That you’re telling me goodbye.
Tell me hi,
Come on, tell me anything
If you don’t I just might cry.
All you do is stare at me,
Whenever you walk by,
Why can’t you just say hi to me?
If you don’t I’ll surely die.
