If you only notice that your cat disappeared for a few hours and then came back home behaving as always it may be the first of many existing symptoms of pregnant cat. So what different behavior you will notice with your cat? She may be more temperamental or more shy that she was. But more likely she will be more quiet and more loving than normal. If you notice that she started avoiding stretching or twisting it is also a sign of pregnancy in cats. Differently moving also should not surprise you as it is normal at this stage of pregnancy as well. Generally you may expect that your cat will spend more time inside and she will be sleeping more than usually. While pregnant she will completely loss her interest in male cats too.

In week 7th the nipples start swelling with milk and what is much more important a cat realize that is pregnant! In the result of this fact she starts looking for an ideal, quiet place to give a birth. One or two weeks later, when you hear constant purring or growling of your cat be sure that she is telling you it is hight time for her labor. A delivery may takes from half an hour to a full day.
