Sweet Serenity
A poem about returning to the one you love...
Sweet Serenity
"Oh, sweet serenity I can’t help but give in
to the sweet voices of the sirens within,
The voices draw me closer to keep me confined
in this unknown place while I run out of time
so I use this little bit of time to fix my life
that has been full of hate and strife
this is why I write this letter full of hope
that someday I’ll get out and be set afloat,
see life is too great to be lived alone
and someday I will make it all the way home
to see your face once again
cause its your face that will wash away all my pain
so I bid you farewell my sweet serenity
as I get sucked into this enormous city"
Yours Truly,
Mr. Terrible
