Who Won the Super Bowl 2011 and How?

It is a no brainer now to name who won the Super Bowl XLV and ruled the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Green Bay Packers General Manager was evidently upbeat about the performance of his team. For Aaron Rodgers, it was a pleasure and a dream come true to hold and admire the coveted Vince Lombardi trophy. It was a dream he had nurtured for long in his heart, watching stalwarts play when he was a kid. Aaron Rodgers, for that matter was playing up and down all night with over 300 yards passing and no interceptions. Although he eventually played well enough to see the Packers home and emerge as winners of super bowl 2011. The win is special for the Packers as in spite of a flurry of injuries crippling the team, they beat the odds and became Super Bowl winners once again.

Another extremely crucial reason as to why the Packers turned out to be the winners, was the fact that the offensive flank of the Packers was pretty much at its best. On the other side, three turnovers was what spelled doom for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Actually, thanks to Big Ben and Rashard Mendenhall, the Steelers were never alarmingly way behind the Packers. A bit more of ball control and the result could have been different. The turning point of the game was perhaps when Greg Jennings caught his second touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers got a 28-17 lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers. This was when just less than 12 minutes were left in the Super Bowl. Eventually Packers too built on their score and team won.

All in all Packers lived up to their tradition of being in the list of most Super Bowl wins. It was heart breaking for Pittsburgh Steelers, as they put up a tough fight after Christina Aguilera's performance. After seeing the Packers perform with all their heart, as a team, one feels that this is what the mettle of super bowl winners looks like!
