Sunshine Baby: Chapter 2
Can Lisa forgive Liam?
Lisa's POV
The cop nodded and asked, "So you don't want to press charges against him?" I thought about it but I decided not to.
"No I don't. I need to focus on graduating high school early and prepare for this baby. I... I know it will be hard but I'm going to try."
The whole time I told my story Liam never looked at me, but when he did I saw him crying. He never cries but when he does you know he's hurt. I wasn't sure he was going to speak until he said, "I'm sorry Lisa. I shouldn't have done what I did. I hardly remember what I did but now after listening to you I'm disappointed that I did that. I did that to you to the girl I love more than anything. I understand if you don't want anything to do with me but I hope you are able to forgive me."
After saying that he got up and left without looking back. I wanted to run after him but I couldn't. So instead I hugged my mom and apologized to officer Wallace then went upstairs. I didn't realize his name until I apologized to him.
Went I got upstairs I finished my homework and took a shower. About an hour or so when I was ready for bed, sitting in my bed, I got a text from Liam.
"We need to talk Lisa. I know what I did was wrong but give me one more chance. Meet me at the park around noon, please?
Since it was from Liam I replied. "Sure but you're buying lunch."
Liam's POV
This whole thing with Lisa just sucks but maybe this baby is a sign that I need our relationship to work. I love her. When she had told me that she was pregnant I was happy but disappointed in myself. I didn't know what to tell her for two whole months. Yeah I know I'm an idiot.
That night was a blur. My first time getting drunk and I rape my girlfriend. I can never forgive myself so why should she? I understood when her mom called the cops.
After I left her house I couldn't stop crying. So finally after an hour of sulking I texted her. When she agreed to go to lunch with me I couldn't hold my excitement anymore. My phone buzzed a minute later.
"Sure buy me lunch." I sat there wondering what she'd like but I didn't have much money.
"Umm does a cheeseburger and a chocolate shake sound good?" A few minutes later she texted back.
"Ooh! That sounds so good! But yes we do need to talk, so I can't wait! Well I'm going to bed goodnight Liam."
I couldn't help but smile, "Goodnight Lisa sweet dreams."
Lisa's POV
I was so tired but man when he texted me about that cheeseburger I realized how much I wanted that. Damn you Liam for making me want that! But what he doesn't know is that I want two cheeseburgers. I couldn't help but text back "Ooh! That sounds so good! But yes we do need to talk, so I can't wait! Well I'm going to bed goodnight Liam."
My mom had told me that if I wanted to keep this baby then Liam and I have to work things out between us. Well I plan to do just that!! I turned my light off when he texted, "Neither can I Lisa night."
I fell asleep thinking about I'll tell him tomorrow.

Chad Moregioxki - Thank you. I never finish a story because I never like them, but if I have an audience wanting to read then maybe I'll actually finish one! I have another story which I should've posted first.
