Summers Sailed

Poem about summer love.
Summers love
Will come and go,
Waiting where
The wind does grow.
Can you feel
The breath of time?
That mournful passage
Of birdsong rhyme.
Holding fast
As we move on,
Years pass by
With memories gone.
Love forgotten
Never fails
To seize your heart
In its billowing sails.
Oceans traveled
Through crashing seas,
My life depends
On a forward breeze.
Waves, like faces,
Are shattered with screams,
Following, failing,
Haunting your dreams.
