Summer Footwear: Making Your Feet Comfortable!
Feet need some special care during summer. Heat and humidity will aid in growth of ample bacteria, so taking measures to reduce these will help enormously.
During the summer you need to protect your feet rather than yourself from several problems. During winter you wear shoes to remain warm all day. Therefore, summer is the time to let feet be absolutely airy. Most important blood vessels and nerve endings end up in the feet thereby making it the most important part of the body.
Since there is such crowd of blood vessels and nerves inside feet, you can imagine how your feet must sweat. And when your wear shoes, the sweat and the dust can make it quite miserable for you, this is the most likely period when you can contact several skin ailments. Therefore, it is most advisable to leave your feet open and let them feel the air.
Wear open footwear like the slip on, leather sandals, flip flops, etc. each time you can. When your feet are not heavily clothed you will feel less warm and your feet will feel the comfort. However, since you are not wearing shoes, it is most likely that the dust will get on your feet from time to time. It is therefore necessary, that you give your feet a good wash from time to time during the day.
Footwear can be the one giving a little acupressure. This will help you in remaining energetic. When it comes to foot care, do not forget to wash your feet before you go to bed at night, apply slight soap, and use a puma stone to remove all dead skin cells. This will remove any smell from your feet. Also dry your feet thoroughly and apply hydrating cream or lotion. If you want to keep your legs in shape try and take pillow under your feet. It will avoid swellings due to excessive usage.
