Love story
(Saturday)
Daniel was in his bedroom packing his things up. After packing his things up that exactly took him half an hour, he decided to call Rico up.
He dialled Rico’s house’s number and it ringed.
"Hello", a voice of a man said.
"May I speak to Rico", Daniel asked the man.
"Who’s this", the man asked.
"Daniel", Daniel said.
"Oh, Daniel. Wait a second. I’ll just call him", the man said. It was the voice of Rico’s father.
"Rico, telephone", shouted Rico’s father for Rico to hear upstairs.
"Wait", Rico shouted back from upstairs. Five seconds after, Rico still didn’t come down.
"Rico, hurry up! Daniel’s waiting", Rico’s father shouted again.
"Coming", Rico said as he was in the stairs already.
"Sheesh", Rico said when he finally reached the telephone.
"Tell me what’s the latest about you", Rico asked directly.
"I’m going to be back there tomorrow. Please tell the others", Daniel said quickly and hung up.
"Hey, wait –. What’s the problem with that man", Rico said annoyingly.
Back at America, at Daniel’s parent’s house, Daniel was now excited. He took his cell phone and clicked the gallery. He saw a picture of him and Emma. It was taken in their first year in high school before Daniel went away. It was at the science lab where he had hidden his cell phone below the table, below enough to take both their faces; he then signaled Emma to smile at the camera and had pressed the button..
"I can’t wait to see you again", Daniel said with great satisfaction.
