Love story
To Daniel, it seems to be a magical night but it would be really sad if Emma will be angry.
"I’m so sorry", Daniel said after staring at her then he stood up and walked away without turning back. He didn’t notice that he left his guitar in Emma’s arm.
Emma was stunned to what happen. She felt happy, mad, afraid and a thrill of emotion or excitement at the same time. She noticed the guitar was still in her arms.
She sighed with deep breath and entered the room with Daniel’s guitar on her hand while smiling uncontrollably. Vanessa and Nicole were sitting in each of their own bed. Vanessa was reading a novel and Nicole was listening to her i-Pod. Not one of them noticed Emma entered the room. They were busy with their own activity.
Suddenly, Emma passed in front of them and went to the bathroom to change into her pajamas. That’s when Vanessa and Nicole noticed her and they wondered why Emma’s face was not understandable.
"Where did you go", Vanessa asked after Emma went out of the bathroom lowering her book to the bed. Emma went to the balcony and Vanessa and Nicole followed her.
"I was with Daniel downstairs. He was teaching me to play the guitar then --", Emma said still stunned.
"Then? Did he admit his true feelings to you", Nicole asked excitedly.
"I think it’s better than that, Nicole. I mean, look at her ", Vanessa said. They watched Emma breathing hardly deep.
"Come on, tell us what happened", Nicole said.
"Then, then, we – Uhm, we – we, kissed", Emma said nervously and quickly.
"Oh my God", Nicole said.
"The problem is, do you like him", Vanessa asked seriously.
"I don’t know", Emma said.
"What do you mean you don’t know? What are you feeling right now", Vanessa asked.
There was a knock on their door and Nicole opened it while Emma and Vanessa continued their conversation not facing the door. They didn’t care who was in the door.
"Well, what are you feeling right now?" Vanessa asked seriously.
"Emma", Nicole called while leaning in the door and Emma was opening her mouth and was going to answer Vanessa’s question.
"Daniel’s here", Nicole whispered. Emma quickly stood up took his guitar. Nicole went out and went to Christine, Hadey and Sabrina’s room
"I came here to get my guitar", Daniel said, avoiding Emma’s eyes that were piercing to him. Emma handed the guitar. Daniel turned away and went inside in the boy’s room while Emma closed the door.
Emma went back to the balcony and saw only Vanessa sitting alone in the chair. She sat beside Vanessa and sighed.
"Now what", Vanessa asked.
"I think I like him", Emma said. Vanessa shrieked in excitement.
"I’m not sure", Emma added.
There was long silence until Nicole went back from outside.
"Hey", Nicole shouted and was amazed in the silence.
"Why’s the silence", Nicole asked.
"She likes Daniel", Vanessa blurted loudly. Exactly that time, Daniel was in the door, listening. He was exactly there so he can explain to Emma. But when he heard it, he closed the door back and smiled.
"Ssshhh", Emma shouted for them to hear because they’re starting to fill the whole room with loud giggling shrieks. The two jumped while holding each other’s hands. Emma was laughing with a little worry inside her.
"Stop. He will actually hear you if you won’t stop. Please", Emma said trying to stop them.
"Ooooops! Sorry", the two said in unison and continue their low giggling shrieks. Emma just laughed.
Daniel in the door just smile and was happy to hear that Emma likes him. But there’s something in his mind that says that maybe Emma was not sure of her feelings so he went back to his room which was filled with the snores of Rico.
While Emma was in her bed, she was thinking every minute that she was with Daniel. From the first time they met right after Daniel arrived from America to the swing where she and Daniel kissed. Daniel was thinking the same way. From the day he fell in love with Emma to the day the two of them kissed.
"I think I’m falling in love with him", Emma thought in her bed.
"I think I still love her", Daniel thought in his bed.
They closed their eyes and slept.
