Summary of a Hard Life

Just a poem about how life has affected me...though this is not every day.
Like a stone,
I feel nothing.
Hardened by the harsh realities of life,
I have become callused.
Sometimes the pressure is too great,
And like a rock I break.
Shattered into pieces,
Yet still unfeeling.
My edges are cold and hard,
Like the words that I speak.
Time means nothing,
Days slowly fade into years.
People come and they go,
Yet I am still here;
Withstanding the test of time.
