Sugar Free Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 16 oz can pumpkin
  • 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup artificial sweetener
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves

What's Thanksgiving without a pumpkin pie. First of all, you will preheat the oven at 425ºF. In a bowl, you will beat the pumpkin and add milk and eggs to it. Mix everything properly and add the rest of the ingredients one by one. Once the batter is ready, grease a 9'' pie pastry pan and pour it inside. Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes or so. Afterward, reduce the oven's temperature to 350ºF and bake for another 40 minutes. Insert a toothpick to see if the pie is ready. Remove the pan from the oven, set it aside to cool, and later on, serve with sugar free whipped cream on top.

Sugar Free Apple Pie

Ingredients
  • 4 apples
  • 2½ cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup fat free butter

This dessert is sweet without the additional calories. First of all, preheat the oven at 350ºF. In a bowl, mix flour and salt together. Melt butter in a different bowl and pour in with the flour. Mix everything properly and make 2 balls. With the rolling pin, you will make the balls flat, but not too thin. Place the rolled out dough over a pie pastry pan.

For the filling, you need to peel, core, and slice the apples. Add brown sugar and cinnamon in and mix well. Add this mixture into the pan and cover it with the other rolled out dough. Make some slits on top and place in the oven to bake for 40-45 minutes. Once the crust is brown, you can remove the pan from the oven. Serve the pie when it's warm.

Sugar Free Rum Cake

Ingredients
  • 5 slices peaches, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons rum extract
  • 1 large angel food cake
  • 1 cup white grape juice
  • 1 box sugar-free peach flavored gelatin dessert
  • 16 oz bag frozen peaches, drained
  • 15 oz low-fat ricotta cheese
  • 12 oz non-dairy whipped topping

This is one of the easiest and fastest Thanksgiving recipes you can try. First, turn the angel cake upside down on a plate. From the top, you will cut 1" off and keep it aside. Take a serrated knife to hollow the center of the angel cake. In the process, you leave 1" of sides. Next, you will take the grape juice and microwave it for about a minute. Add gelatin with the grape juice and mix. Then add peaches and ricotta cheese. Combine the ingredients properly and put the bowl in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Take a different bowl now and whisk whipped topping and rum extract together. Now add the cool peach and ricotta cheese filling in the hollow cake and place the top. Spread the frosting over the cake to coat completely. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 1 hour before you serve. Garnish with cut peach slices and enjoy.
