First, line a baking pan with non-sticky foil and keep aside. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream cheese, chocolate cubes, sugar substitute and vanilla extract, till the mixture turns a smooth concoction. Add pecans and stir again. Pour this fudge base over the baking pan, put lid and refrigerate overnight. With this, you are done with your sugar-free dessert recipe. Next day, cut the chilled fudge into serving sized pieces and serve.
Sugar-free Peanut Butter Cookie
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup plain flour
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 egg, beaten
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar substitute
- A pinch of salt
For this sugar-free recipe, take a mixing bowl and combine together the dry ingredients - flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar substitute and salt. Ingredients
- 1 ready to bake pie crust (7½ ounces), refrigerated
- 3 granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon reduced fat margarine
- ⅓ cup brown sugar substitute
- 1 tablespoon skim milk
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A pinch of ground nutmeg
- A pinch of ground mace
This is one of the easiest, yet tasty apple dessert recipes for diabetes. To start with, preheat oven to 350° F. Take a shallow round casserole (about 6-inch size) and place the pie crust properly. Top the pie crust with apple slices, making sure that you spread them evenly. Sprinkle brown sugar substitute and cinnamon, and then, add margarine. Following this, sprinkle nutmeg and mace, and fold the edges of the pie crust so that they cover the apple slices. Lightly brush the apple pie with skim milk and dot with granulated sugar (optional). Bake it for 40 - 45 minutes, or until pie crust turns light brown. Allow apple pie crust to cool down and serve.
