Stronger With You

Victoria's POV:

My morning started off the same way as usual. 'I hate school days.' I thought. I woke up, took my shower and ran to my closet to pick out clothes. I ran to my bathroom to change knowing Ian would come in through the window soon. Ian was my best guy friend and neighbor. Every morning we would go to school together, it was easier that way.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I was still wrapped in my towel and my hair was still wet. I have thick curls and it took a lot to straighten it, and I wanted it straight. I blow dried it then flat ironed it until it was really straight and I liked what I saw. My bangs flipped to the side perfectly, I was having a good hair day. I put on light make up - gloss and some eye liner and mascara - thanks to my clear skin. I finished getting dressed and left my bathroom.
When I walked in my room I saw Ian laying on his back texting someone.

"Who are you texting?" I asked him.
" You'll find out." He said not making eye contact.
Just then I received a text from Ian.
"Wow Ian! Really?" I laughed
"You didn't even read it yet." He said smiling at me.
I opened my phone and read the message.
~Ian: ur hair looks hot!
I smiled at the text and then replied.

~Me: aww thx doll! Urs looks hot too!
"And you're mad that I sent YOU a text?" he smiled.
Wow his smiles were just so breathtaking! Wait - no! I didn't mean that. Ian's only my friend, my normal looking, not hot at all friend. Who am I kidding? Ian's a hottie!

"What?" he asked
"Huh?"
" Why are you looking at me like that?"
Oh my gosh! Have I been standing there gawking at him this whole time?

"Nothing." I said looking away from him.
"Um... let's go eat my mom just left." I said trying to push that awkward moment away.
" Yeah I'm kinda hungry." he said while rubbing his tummy. I laughed at him.
We left my room and headed downstairs to the kitchen. I got an apple from the fridge then Ian shoved my lightly and stuck his head in the fridge.

"Hey!" I playfully shouted.
"A man's gotta eat." he said from the fridge.
"Yeah too bad you're not one." I mumbled. Then I kicked his butt with my foot and he jumped up.
"Hey what was that for?" he said shocked and smiling at me.
"What happened?" I said pretending to be innocent.
"You know what you did."
"Me?" I gasped
"You didn't do anything?" he said still playing along with my little game.
"Nope." I said focusing on the apple in my hand.
" Hmmm okay." He said in a deep voice slowly walking towards me. I backed up into the counter with fake fear.
"Ooh I'm so scared." I said mocking him.
" You should be." He whispered in my ear as he grabbed my waist and pulled me to him.
My face felt hot and my heart was racing as he looked at me with his stunning light brown eyes - they were so intense. He held my chin and his eyes never left mine. He leaned in to kiss me with closed eyes.
'Oh my goodness is this happening?' I thought.
I closed my eyes as his lips met mine. I relaxed my tense body and welcomed his kiss.
I was nervous kissing Ian, he was my friend and I didn't know if this kiss would affect our relationship.
" Tori do you want to do this? I know how I feel about this." he whispered against my lips.
" Do what?" I said just as low.
"You and me.. us? I...I love you Tori." he said breathless.
'Oh my gosh is he asking me out?' I thought.
I smiled at him. His words melted my heart - I was at a loss for words because... I loved him too. He was my best friend, how could I not?
I assumed he took my smile as an 'I love you too' because he leaned in to kiss me.
I loved the way his mosit lips touched mine, and how his tongue gently glided over mine.
Our fingers were intertwined, but he let go of my hands to wrap his around my waist while I wrapped my hands arong his neck.

'Did Ian and I just kiss? - Yes! Wait - we still are! Wow!!!'

" I love you." He said again.
