Basic Strawberry Banana Yogurt Smoothie
To make this strawberry banana smoothie, you will need to have,
- Strawberries, 6 (large)
- Banana, 1
- Yogurt, 2 tbsp.
- Whole milk, 1½ cup
- Sugar, 2 tsp.
- Ice cubes, 4
In a mixer, add the strawberries, the banana and the milk. Now blend until you have a uniform, smooth liquid and then add the yogurt to this for a creamier texture. Blend for another 30 seconds and serve in 2 highball glass.
Frozen Strawberry Banana Yogurt Smoothie with Chocolate Syrup
Smoothies themselves are already hot favorites and chocolate makes the prospect simply irresistible. The smoothie ingredients required for this are,
- Strawberries, ½ cup (frozen)
- Banana, 2 (frozen, cut into bite sized chunks)
- Yogurt, 1 cup
- Chocolate syrup, 2 tbsp.
Just put it all in the blender and mix until you are left with a delightful, thick and uniform smoothie for two.
Strawberry Banana Yogurt Smoothie with Orange Juice
Worried about high strawberry banana yogurt smoothie calories? Well try this low-calorie smoothie out which has only 108 calories per serving. This is your answer if you have been looking for good breakfast smoothies. You'll need,
- Strawberries, 1 quart (ripe)
- Banana, 1 (small and chunked)
- Yogurt, 1 cup (low-fat variety)
- Orange juice, ¾ cup
- Sugar, 1 tbsp.
Just blend everything together in a mixer and serve in 4 tall glasses decorated with orange wedges. This yogurt smoothie is loaded with 4 grams each of proteins and fibers, 17 grams of energy giving sugar, 45 mg of sodium and only 2 grams of fat per serving.
Strawberry Banana Yogurt Smoothie with Mango Juice
This particular smoothie is loaded with about 234 calories in 2 cups of it but then none of them come from fat. It also happens to be great for gluten-intolerants and those who have been asked to maintain a low sodium diet. To make it, you must have,
- Strawberries, 1 cup
- Banana, ½
- Yogurt, ¼ cup (low-fat variety)
- Mango juice, ½ cup
Blend everything together on high-speed in a mixer, until you are left with a thick smoothie. A great grab-and-go breakfast option, you can also use papaya juice instead of the mango juice as it is great for your stomach, too! This particular smoothie happens to be loaded with vitamin A, C and K along with being a great source of calcium, iron, potassium and magnesium. It has negligible amounts of fats, 9 grams of protein and 32 mg of cholesterol. Delicious and energizing is what I choose to call it.
My last recipe doesn't really use strawberries, but uses strawberry flavored yogurt instead. But I love it and so shall include it in this list.
Strawberry Banana Yogurt Frappé
You can concoct this with,
- Strawberry yogurt, 8 oz.
- Banana, 2
- Skim milk, 1 cup (chilled)
- Lemon juice, 1 tbsp.
Put on the steel knife in the processor and then place all the ingredients in it. Blend for 10 seconds and serve in 2 tall glasses. One of those very healthy fruit smoothie recipes, I would say!
