"I don’t care if she's crying just shut her up!" Daron screamed

"She's just a baby Daron!" Molly argued.

"Well, just shut her up!" Daron had a low tolerance level with children. He went crazy if they cried.

"For gods sakes Daron she's only two and a half weeks old!"

Suddenly Courtney ran in and screamed at the top of her lungs, "Stop it, just stop it!

You’re scarring us! Go away! Get out of our house! Get away from my mommy and Melinda!"

Courtney started hitting Daron and screaming. He tried to reach for Melinda but Molly jumped in front of him. They all started screaming. Courtney and Melinda crying there eyes out, Molly and Daron arguing.

Daron grabbed Courtney instead and ran out the door. He shoved her in his big fancy red and white sports car. He child locked the doors so she could not get out. He crawled in and buckled her in, not because he cared but so Courtney could not undo it or slip out to mess up his driving.

Courtney was crying still and struggling to get free of the horrid strap. It felt as if it were holding her just beyond the life that was of her dreams, her future. It was holding onto her, dragging her further, and further into the deepest and darkest blackness that she had never known. Taking her into it until there was no more.

Suddenly she blacked out. Daron had hit her.
