Still There...

A stream from the river of my emotions that often meanders in the search of a lost entity, finally, after being exhausted from the search, finds solace by expressing its pent up feelings in the tides of a poem.
Still There...
You are still there,
In the drop of a dew,
In the sun rays of the dawn,
In the silence of my lonely walks,
In the light of the moon,
In the reflection of my shadow,

You are there in the ink of my thoughts,
You are there in the flames of my passion,
You are there in the shade of a tree,
You are there in the leaves of spring,
You are there in my whims,
You are there in my fantasies,

You were a need, I feel so, still,
You were a gravitating desire, I lurked to acquire,
You were a smell, an answer to my fragrance,
A portrait of enigma, I wished to explore,

You are still there,
In answers to all my problems,
In the ever dynamic cosmos,
In the breath of life,
You are still there in me,
You are still there in me........
