Step by Step Method to Improving Your Fitness
If you want to improve your personal fitness levels, you should read this article. Here you will find a step by step method to improving your fitness levels.
1. Decide that you want to improve - You will never see real change if you are not committed. Have a serious talk with yourself and decide that you want to become fitter.
2. Find your motivators - Write down your reasons for wanting to improve your personal fitness and keep a visual reminder of it (maybe a heart or a bikini)
3. Assess your fitness levels - Do the following tests: weigh inn, Cardio fitness test, flexibility test, muscle strength, BMI test and Waist to hip ratio test.
4. Write down your results of your tests in a fitness journal - Write down the date and results of your tests in your journal.
5. Set smart goals - Include cardio and weight training goals and make them specific and measurable.
6. Do your daily tasks rigorously - Keep track of your dedication by writing it down in your fitness journal. This will help you to make sure that you do those tasks.
7. Keep track of your progress via your journal - Write down your weight loads and your cardio specifics and also do the tests monthly to see ho you are progressing
8. Have positive rewards when you achieve targets and/or see progress - Rewarding yourself will make you push harder the next time. Just make sure that your rewards are positive and healthy.
9. Stay persistent, dedicated and motivated - Make sure that you do your daily task and that you do them regularly and try to stay motivated.
10. Never give up and believe in yourself - Even though some days will be hard and you will feel like giving up, don't. You will achieve your goals, but only if you believe in yourself.
Now that the definition and steps of personal fitness is still fresh in your mind, go ahead and start with the first step to achieving your own personal fitness goals. Make sure that you achieve all your targets by keeping track of it in your journal and by reviewing your personal driving force (your motivators). If you do so you will be on your way to be the fittest, healthiest you ever!
