So here is my story called starting over I hope you enjoy reading it, and if you like it or hate it leave a comment telling me about it please!

CHAPTER 1

I walked into school, nervously clutching my books to my chest. It was my first day of my sophomore year, but even worse I was starting at a new school. Which means everyone already has their cliques and friends and I will be a permanent outcast. But dad insisted, and really, I don't blame him, not after what the last town held for us.
I found my locker and fumbled with the lock and just as I was about to give up, a hand reached over me and undid the lock for me. I turned around and a guy was standing there. He must have been 5' 9" and he had brown spiky hair and bright blue eyes. He was in a gray t-shirt and jeans.

"The locks here suck, anyone can break into them so they're pointless, you must be new."
"Yeah...thanks...I'm Caitlin." He just kind of stared at me so after a few seconds I added, "and you are?"
"Oh, I'm Nick." he stared distractedly down the hallway. "let's get out of here."
"What?"
"Yeah, come on, we have to go now!" he said dragging me running through hallways.
"Where are we going?" I protested as he dragged me out into his car.
"Get in now and ask questions later!" I obeyed and we sped off as I watched 3 guys run out of the school after us.

"Okay your seriously speeding!" I said urgently as I watched his speedometer go 40 in a 25. He eased off the gas and pulled into an ice cream shop.
"Come on, we might as well grab something to eat." He said turning off the car and getting out.
I followed him, struggling to keep up. What is this guys problem?
He ordered a hot dog, fries and a milkshake. Then turned towards me. "I'm paying, get what you want."
"I can pay," I started to protest but he cut me off.
"No, I'll pay. Order." he said gesturing to the waiting server, I wasn't that hungry so I looked the menu over quickly.

"I'll have small swirl please." the server left to get the ice cream and we sat down and waited. "so what was that all about?" I asked curiously. He hesitated.
"Oh look, foods ready." He said and got up to go get it, and sat down handing me my cone. "So welcome to Twisp, the most boring place on earth." he said rolling his eyes.
"Sometimes boring is good..." I said quietly thinking about how Seattle had held too much excitement for me.
"Yeah right!" he scoffed.
"You are not going to tell me what all that was about are you?" I asked firmly.
"Nope." he said popping the P.
"I figured as much..." I paused. "but you know I think I have a right to know considering you nearly pulled my arm out of my socket." I told him pointedly.

"No one has rights to anything in my life." he responded vaguely. I'm done with this.
"Fine, no rights to anything, including your car I would guess, I'll just walk back to school then." I got up and tossed the rest of my ice cream in the trash and walked out the door, a few seconds later I heard more footsteps behind me, I kept walking. Then I heard his car start and he sped off I rolled my eyes to myself. So much for hospitality on my first day. A second later his car screeched to a halt beside me.
"Come on Caitlin, get in." he pleaded with his blue eyes, and I couldn't resist. I opened the door and got in. "so you still want to go back to school?" he asked like there was an option.

"Um, yeah, I'm supposed to be there." I said confused.
"Okay then off to school it is!" He said as he went 80 down a street, blue sirens flashed behind us. I heard him swear under his breath.
"Oh my god! Pull over!" I commanded.
"Okay..." he obeyed reluctantly. The cop was in his car still and Nick looked at me seriously. "Caitlin, I need you to do as I say, on my back seat is a gun." my eyes widened. "I need you to place it on the floor and cover it with the green blanket okay" I nervously did as he said.
"Why do you have a gun?" I whispered.
"It doesn't matter, now here comes the oficer, act sick, be as convincing as you can." he said slowly and seriously.
"That shouldn't be to hard." I assured him, my voice quivering. My face was already flushed, and I was shaking slightly from being so nervous, I felt like I was going to throw up anyway. I kept my hand on the door handle figuring Nick wouldn't like my puke all over what looked like a very expensive sports car, and waited for the officer to approach the car.

Okay now don't forget to write a comment, pplz comments are what keeps me going! (also I tried to attach the book cover for this that I made but idk if it worked)
