Stand Still

Please comment.. it's about someone forced to join the war in ww2.
When that moment came to rest,
There was only silence as well as death.
As the water stood still and the winds became lost,
For them it was only war and I was only a small cost.

Eyes that were as clear as day,
Were soon to be silenced,
Were soon to be gray.

What place is this that could have possibly done so wrong?
What they would have forced me to have to write their last song?

They are my brothers as well as my long-lost friends,
Who couldn't live to see the end.
And what happens after it's all said and done
How can you live with yourself looking at all the lost ones.
Have you looked at any of my other poems?
All of them
Most of them
A few of them
Like maybe one
None
None and don't plan on it by this poem
