Springtime Love
Tips on how to use this season to win the heart of the one you desire, or rekindle the flames with your significant other.
Spring is here and love is in the air. Did the winter make your love cold? How will you ever get your crush to notice you? This season is one of the best times to make your move.
The Benefits of the Weather
Most people love the spring. After a cold winter of being stuck inside, it’s time to go outside and take a deep breath. It is not too hot and not too cold. This creates tons of possibilities for romantic outdoor dates, proposals and quality time with loved ones. Now that things have warmed up, you can:
The possibilities are endless! Any of these things would be sweet and romantic enough for a proposal, to ask someone to be your girlfriend or boyfriend, or just to add warmth to and ongoing relationship.
April Showers
Rain shouldn’t stop you from having a wonderful romantic outing. Bring an umbrella with you. It can still be sweet to cuddle together to shield for the rain. Be careful not to get yourselves sick, though (dress appropriately).
If you and your partner don’t mind getting a little bit wet, there is nothing like slippery kisses in the rain. You can even stand under an archway or just the umbrella. Rain has a rhythm, and you can dance to it. Imagine holding your loved one close, and moving to nothing but the tap, tap of rain drops.
You should go indoors if there is thunder and lightening, however. You can turn out the lights and dance inside. Or, you can cuddle…or… you know. The sound of rain drops can be so relaxing and terribly romantic. It’s all in the mood you set.
May Flowers
Nothing says I love you like a dozen roses. You don’t have to wait for a special occasion to give your loved one flowers. Spontaneous gift giving shouldn’t be limited to the spring, but if you don’t do this already, the spring it the perfect time to start.
Flowers with a note, stuffed animal, or just you can make that special someone feel extra special. You can have flowers sent, bring them yourself, or visit a garden together. Grabbing a flower from the neighbor’s yard isn’t always recommended, but you may not have to go far from your home, or your partner’s home, to find that perfect pretty background to the love scene you want to create.
The warmth of day and cool of night
Going out for a nice dinner is always appropriate, rain or shine. A nice walk afterward adds a nice touch. With spring being the way it is, think of your loved one and bring something that can warm them up if it gets chilly into the night. Everyone knows the old movie cliché of the gentleman giving his bare shouldered date his jacket. Trust me, it still works.
Don’t waste another beautiful day indoors. Call up your special someone and seize the precious moments of spring. Whether you are trying to win a heart or keep one, the season is in your favor. Take advantage of the spring. It is the season of love.
