The spring is almost here and no doubt, your heady school and college schedule will allow you a few days off. So no doubt you will be thinking about how to extract the most out of the pittance of days your work or study schedule allows you? Spring is that time of the years where we can't help but sing 'here comes the sun', and go enjoy the outdoors that were quite possibly frozen the whole winter. So undoubtedly you'll want to be out and about. So use some of these spring break vacation ideas to make the most of your holidays.

Ways to Spend the Spring Vacation

BBQ
Quite frankly, the first thing that comes to my mind when someone says spring, is barbecue! After all these cold winter months, wouldn't you just love to whip out the BBQ at the first instance? I sure would. So a nice BBQ on the lawn, with a few drinks and all your friends sounds like one of the best ideas for families to me!

Road Trip
A road trip is one of the better ideas for college students. Just pack in all the stuff, the food, the people and the entertainment, gas up the car and off you go. No planning required, nothing. Just impulsive and good fun. A great way to spend a relatively short spring break with your friends.

Beach Vacation
Around spring time, the beaches start working at full steam. So if you choose to take a beach vacation with your family and friends, then you are looking at one of the best, most fun filled spring breaks for high school students and their families complete with surfing, para-sailing, motor-boats and depending on which beach you go to, snorkeling.

Camping
Sending your kids camping is can be an amazing experience for them. They learn to live on their own and provides them a getaway from there and you from them. They get to live in tents and sleeping bags and is an experience any kid ought to have in my opinion. It's a really good vacation idea for kids. And it leaves you with the next great spring break idea I have for you and your spouse.

Cruise Vacations
A cruise vacation! The ultimate romantic getaway two people very much in love can ever have! Doesn't matter how old you are, doesn't matter whether you're married or not, a cruise vacation is the ultimate lap of luxury and most probably be the pinnacle of a romantic time you'll ever have with each other! A few days away from home, work and kids is just what the doctor ordered. Hard to suggest any other ideas for couples that's better than this!

Annual Spring Cleaning
Certainly better than this one it may seem. Cleaning sounds like a terrible idea for the vacations and a pretty boring thing to do especially during spring break, but the more organized among us would revel at the very thought of spring cleaning. After all, after a long winter, there will be grass to mow, leaves to rake and snow to shovel outside the house. The inside of the house too will be seething with the Christmas mess. So spring cleaning is a nice, although perhaps not too fun an activity for the entire family.

It's the time for all us to have a good time and rejuvenate ourselves for the rest of the year, or at least till Christmas!
