Some even consider the vehicle to be a bargain. You got a 2.3 liter engine that has the capacity to produce 263 units of horsepower. The engine has been built to have a direct injection system and is turbo charged. It also works using four cylinders.

On this new award, Don Romano, the president of Mazda Canada Inc. accepted it in behalf of the whole company. He did say, "At Mazda we like to say that we put the soul of a sports car in every car we design and the MazdaSpeed3 is the epitome of that philosophy. Winning this prestigious award from the most discerning automobile critics, based upon back to back testing against competitive vehicles, certainly attests to Mazda’s engineering expertise."
