Spoil Part 11

It was my birthday I was finally 19, Josh told me he will pick me up at 7 but he never said where he was taking me. I was excited but I still didn't feel happy there was no one to celebrate my birthday with my mom was still no where to be found and my dad was in the hospital still doing same as before.

The doctor said to take out the life support but Aunt Sally said she doesn't want that. No one asked me what I wanted it was my mom and aunt making all the decision, they didn't even ask me how I was feeling or what I thought about this. I was upset this was just another day for me there wasn't anything different about this day.

I look at the time it was almost 6, I couldn't wait to go out with Josh. I was about to get ready when the phone ring.

'Hello?' I said wondering who might be calling.

'Hey is Kelly' She seem happy like always, I didn't understand how she always stayed this happy even if something bad happen she always look happy. The smile never leave from her face.

'Kelly How are you?' I ask still wondering why she was calling, I didn't expect her to call.

'Just want to wish you Happy Birthday!' She said

'Thanks, wow you remember' I said surprise, I didn't expect her to remember my birthday. I never expect anyone to remember my birthday.

'Of course, Your coming camping tomorrow right?'

'Ya.. Josh said he want us to go so I can keep my mind of everything else' I said rolling my eyes.

Yesterday Josh convince me to go camping I guess he could tell how upset and worry I was because of my dad. It was weird for me, I never expected anything like this to happen to my dad. I always thought that I don't love him but after he went to the hospital I realize I love him so much.

'Great! Everyone will be happy to see you' Kelly was saying.

'Who's coming?' I still had no clue who was going with us.

'Shawn, Erine, my boyfriend Jimmy, and couple more people you might know them'

Kelly met Jimmy in London and as soon as she saw him she could tell he was the one for her. They start talking after and before she know it they were going out. I was happy for her, this was her third boyfriend which was a surprise. I didn't understand how she was able to stay with one boyfriend for so long but after meeting Josh I kind of understand it.

'Oh and Cindy is coming' Kelly added.

Cindy was Josh old girlfriend when I heard this I was surprise, I didn't expect to see her ever again. I wasn't afraid to face her but it just didn't seem right. When Josh told me he broke up with her because he love someone else, I didn't expected that the someone else was me. I kind of felt guilty because I was the reason they broke up and I know that Cindy really love Josh.

'Is she dating someone?' I ask still surprise to hear this.

'Maybe I don't know' I didn't wanted to hear this, I wanted to hear that she was dating someone and she was happy with him. I didn't know how Josh felt about her and I wasn't sure if Cindy was over Josh.

After talking to Kelly for couple more minutes I put the phone down and got ready. It was almost 7 and the bell ring. I went to answer the door and of course it was Josh. He look cute like always, I kiss him lightly and he wish me happy birthday. I was excited to see Josh and I did decide not to say anything about Cindy since it was out night out. I didn't wanted to ruin anything.

'Where are we going?' I ask looking around.

I haven't seen this area before, I didn't even know if it existed on the map. It was beautiful I could see water where the sun was going down which made it look perfect and on the other side of the road I could see a beautiful bridge and some trees. There wasn't much traffic on the road it was almost empty.

'You'll see' Josh said with a smile on his face.

When the car stop he got out of the car and open the door for me. I step out of the car and he hold my hand giving me a smile.

I still wasn't sure what was going on we start walking towards a restaurant at least it look like a restaurant. When we got in there it was completely empty there was no one there which was a surprise.

Josh guided me upstairs and when I got upstairs it was beautiful. There was a table with cake on it, I could see balloons everywhere and when I look on both side we were surrounded my water, there were candles everywhere and the moon was so bright. I couldn't move for a while I was so surprise to see all this. I didn't expect anything like this.

After having dinner and cutting the cake. Josh ask me to dance, I felt like I was living a dream where everything was perfect.

In the middle of dancing Josh went down on his knees. I didn't understand what he was doing, but after a minute he took out a ring and I was just surprise, I didn't know how to feel.

'Sandy I told you I love you from all my heart, I know is hard to live with me and I know sometimes we fight but you complete me and your the girl who I want to spend my life with, so will you marry me?' Josh said as he put the ring in my finger.

I didn't say anything I just kissed him and almost jump on him giving him a hug. I couldn't explain how happy I was. I could feel tears coming down my face but they were tears of joy. I couldn't believe this was happening, I was engaged on my birthday.
