Ingredients
  • 1 ham bone (with adhering meat)

  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
  • 1 large bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 2 cups water

Directions for Preparation

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onions and saute for 2-3 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and saute for another 3 minutes or until soft. Gently pour chicken broth and water.
