Spirituality is a Weapon - Use it at Will

Spirituality for most of us is a need, spiritual souls who desire the sense of belonging. Spiritual calling of human heart is like a turtle that is just hatched and knows to go straight to the ocean, and swims for years just to come back to the same shores, where it was born. And this happens without a compass, maybe the compass is built in. As for us humans the search has always been if we look at our known history.

Our history has left signs for us to understand the significance our ancestors have placed on spirituality. From Aztecs to Greeks, or the brilliant buildings that ancient Egyptians have built for their spiritual Gods. All throughout the world mankind has been engaged in various spiritual beliefs and practices to give meaning to the universe at large. When we study our history, we come to find that, our ancestors started burying their passed loved one as early as five hundred thousand years ago to a time which anthropologists generally refer as "lower Paleolithic"

But what is spirituality? Spirituality is a belief which is part of almost all people around the world, it is a belief that we are made of timeless essence (spirit) which even though not visible exists in spiritual form. It is a belief that we are made of unseen ever lasting spirit form, if we were to ask a religious person to describe what spirit is, then the answer he or she might give might be it is the holy, it is part of Holy God as we are made of its image, consequently if we were to ask our eastern friends then the answer they might give is; it is the vital force (chi) it is essence which binds the universe. Also in the menu of life there are countless other spiritual paths which fellow humans walk on, some native tribes believe is shamanistic beliefs and still we come to see almost every race from all part of the globe believe in spirituality one form another.

Spirituality is like water, it nourishes all, also just like water it can travel through the dry cracks to nourish the weeds of arrogance. Spirituality offers the feeling of joy like a parent uniting with its lost child. It is a weapon to use against the enemy called doubts. It is like a magical genie to answer our most dear desires. It is like water to thirsty souls; it is like a lighthouse to guide the souls to shores called love and peace. It is universal love that beats with every heart beat, creating vibrations that travel through time and space to spiritual dimension.

Spirituality is like a safe haven to those who require refuge from sufferings one might experience in their life journey. Spiritual hearts are like flowers that let out loving fragrance. Spirituality teaches loving kindheartedness, compassion to all beings and to our environments. It is a weapon like sword which swiftly cuts through the tree called hatred. It is like purifying oceans to wash away negativity. Spirituality is a weapon to use at will, to rid one of enemy called anger. Spirituality is like food for hungry souls. It is like a violin that plays eternal tunes from the strings of ones heart.

Spiritual, as we are fortunate and free beings that have the unique gift of awareness. As we can see, there is nothing we physically can see is capable of such awareness of existence of cosmos. As to deserving, know that the gift of heaven is free; this gift of knowledge is so great that no effort whatsoever could hope to "deserve" it. Yet the breath of life is given as a free gift. Therefore receive it with kindness and repay it by loving compassion to all living beings. Routine and prejudice distort vision. Each person thinks his own horizon is the limit of the world, and spiritual horizons are endless and comforting for spiritually aware souls.

It doesn’t matter which road we take to climb a mountain, on top the view will be the same. One moon shows in every pool, in every pool, the one moon. Spiritual souls who know the shining of eternal light of this moon is within every heart.
