Special Life - Chapter 1
This is my first story so pls tell me what you all think !!!!!
"I hate this. Can’t we do something else?" Kirara whined at her brother. Her brother and she were watching a tennis match on the TV. Normally, Kirara would love watching tennis but since it was a Saturday, she didn’t want to just stay home watching tennis. "Well if u don’t want to stay, u can go out. Besides, I never forced u to watch this with me" Makoto said back. "I’m going out. Tell mom and dad for me" Kirara said as she got up and went up to her room to change out of her home clothes.
"Makoto’s an idiot!" Kirara was mumbling to herself when a figure caught her sight. "Miki?!" she exclaimed out loud and the figure turned to her. "K-K-Kirara?!" Miki exclaimed as well and they went towards each other for a hug. "Is something wrong, Miki? You’ve been pretty down. Did u get dumped or something?" Kirara looked at Miki, concerned. "Huh? I’m fine" Miki wiped her tears that were coming out from her eyes but Kirara knew Miki too well to be fooled.
"Come on, Miki. I know you too well for that. You can tell me and maybe I can help" Kirara said and Miki gave in. "It’s Ginta. And Yuu. They both want me to choose between them" Miki confessed and tears streamed down her face as Kirara hugged her for comfort. "It’s okay. I know who Ginta is but who’s Yuu?" Kirara said.
"I would say that I am Yuu. Is there anything you need?" a guy with marmalade-coloured hair and fair skin said. "Nice to meet you. I’m Kirara, Miki’s best friend" Kirara introduced herself. "Why are you crying?" Yuu touched Miki’s back and Kirara let Miki go to Yuu. "I wish I could stay long but I really got to go. I still got practice" Kirara said apologetically, waved and left Miki with Yuu comforting her. I hope that Miki’s alright with Yuu. I wished I could have stayed a bit longer but I’m really going for practice, Kirara thought as she was walking away from Miki and Yuu.
"Hey did you hear that there’s gonna be a transfer student?!" Hitomi said when Kirara turned up for that day’s tennis practice. "And I heard he’s rich too. In fact, rumor has it that he’s the head of a big company" Horimi said. "Well I heard about him but I don’t know about the rumors about him since I don’t believe in rumors anyway" Kirara said.
"You should at least hear them" Hikari said back. "Fine, I give in. What are they?" Kirara raised her hands up, surrendering. "Some girls said that he’s way cool. But when one of them confessed to him, he turned her down, saying ‘Sorry, but I already have a girlfriend’" Horimi said. "Which school did he transfer from?" Kirara asked, suddenly getting interested. "He said that he was from Gakuen PBV. I wonder where that school is. And he hasn’t officially transferred but he already has a fan club!" Hikari exclaimed.
"Gakuen PBV? What does the PBV stand for?" Miyabe popped out of nowhere. "No idea" Hikari shook her head and so did Hitomi and Horimi. But Kirara stayed silent as the conversation continued.
On Monday, the announcement was made by the teacher. "Okay, class! This is Hirosane Ryuu and he’ll be your classmate from now on. He transferred from Gakuen PBV which is a school of high social standing, so he’ll take some time to get used to the way things work here so I need someone to show him around" Sensei said. Hirosane Ryuu was a guy with dark-brown hair and his blue eyes sparked with happiness and energy. All the girls in the Ryuu fan club put up their hands and smirked at each other as if to say, ‘he’ll choose me!’ Everyone was paying attention except Kirara who was still working on her Math problem as if nothing had happened.
"Sensei, if you don’t mind, can I choose who I want to show me around personally?" Ryuu said. Sensei nodded at him and gave him an encouraging smile. Ryuu looked around the class to choose who he wanted. ‘Damn! I wish I had at least asked her what class she was!’ he thought. He saw Kirara and walked towards her table.
"Excuse me. What’s your name?" Ryuu said politely but Kirara didn’t look up even once. "Is there something that you need me for?" Kirara just said. "Um … Can you show me around the school?" Ryuu said. ‘Who is this girl? Her aura’s the same as Kirara but how can I be sure that she’s really Makoto’s sis?’ Ryuu wondered.
"Ding! Dong!" the bell for morning break rang and Kirara gathered her stuff together but still didn’t look at Ryuu. "Sorry. I’m not free. ‘Sides, you got a fan club so why not you ask one of the members? They’ll die for the chance" Kirara said as she got up and walked out of the classroom. "Hey. Who is she?" Ryuu asked one of the boys standing close to him.
"Her name’s Kashino Kirara. She transferred here about a year ago. She’s in the tennis club and she’s said to be one of the best players. Some people say that she’s got this aura and if you get close to her, you’ll get sucked up by the aura and you’ll have the same aura" the boy replied back. "Hi, I’m Tanaka" Tanaka introduced himself.
"Wait! What did you say? Kashino? Does she have a brother?" Ryuu began to get desperate. "No one knows about her background. Why? Do you know her from somewhere or something?" Tanaka said. "Um… never mind. Just that one of my friends back at PBV was called Kashino but he’s a guy" Ryuu said. Tanaka and Ryuu talked for a little while as they headed towards the cafeteria.
"What the PBV?! You never told me about Hirosane coming here! You’re an idiot, Makoto!" Kirara shouted into her phone and everyone looked at her. "Who’s she talking to? And why did she shout your name? Also, she looks like she’s angry" Tanaka observed. Kirara snapped her phone shut and glared at everyone, and everyone got back to their food as though nothing had happened.
"Hey. Kashino-san. You were talking about me right?" Ryuu approached Kirara and this time, she looked up. "Why are you so interested? ‘Sides, I got to go and do something, so… if you’ll excuse me" Kirara got up and started walking away but Ryuu pulled her back to face her. "Your brother’s Kashino Makoto. You were a student at Gakuen PBV but when your parents died, you left the school with Makoto. Also, you never told anyone especially not me. What happened?" Ryuu looked concerned.
