Special Friends - Prologue
You've all loved my story "Delusional Love" and supported me throughout. This is the new story that I am thinking of writing so I'm posting this Prologue for my readers to decided if I should continue with this idea or drop it. Please comment and let me know.
"I'm suffering from this disease," he said with tears in his eyes, "but I know it won't affect you because you have always accepted me for what I am. You're the only person who saw the man inside me and rid me of all the miseries in my life. I love you and somewhere in my heart, a voice says to me that you love me too. They say I might die soon and I always believed them but not anymore, not anymore, because I've got a new life. You're my life. We'll be happy together, always."
"I can't be with a person like you," said she with a heavy heart. But the truth has to be told, "I don't love you, I never did." As she said this, she quickly went out of the room, ignoring his groan because she knew it would be impossible for her to meet his gaze.
He was lying on the floor. He groaned because he loved her, he was in immense pain because she left her, the tears fell from his eyes and blood was flowing from the wound on his wrist which he had cut with the blade.
