Spaghetti Pie with Cheddar Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- ½ cup diced green pepper
- 1 whole cup sour cream
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ cup pasta sauce
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- ¾ cup chopped spring onion
- ¼ cup cream cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- salt to taste
Preheat the oven to 175 ºC. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes or till it is firm. In a shallow frying pan cook the ground beef over medium heat. Add pasta sauce, green pepper, garlic powder, pepper and salt and stir it evenly. After it boils, reduce the flame and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes. Take a small bowl and mix the chopped spring onion, cream cheese and sour cream. Coat a baking dish with butter and add the cooked spaghetti, meat and cream cheese mixture. Cover the dish and bake it in an oven for about 30 minutes. Remove the cover and bake it again till the cheese melts. Remove it from the oven and transfer the contents to a serving tray, and garnish it with finely chopped coriander and serve hot.
Spaghetti Pie with Parmesan and Mozzarella Cheese
Ingredients
- 175 gm of spaghetti
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ cup corn stock
- 1 small onion evenly chopped
- ¼ cup sliced mushrooms
- ¾ cup homemade spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 green pepper, diced in rings
- 2 eggs
Bring water to boil and cook the spaghetti for about 10 minutes. Once boiled remove the dish and make sure that the water is drained. Rinse it in cool water and set it aside. Beat two eggs and mix it with the spaghetti and shredded Parmesan cheese. In a large frying pan, cook the beef with onion and mushrooms till they turn brown. Place the mixture in a greased baking dish and add the diced green pepper and mozzarella cheese and cook in preheated oven of 350 ºC for about 30 minutes.
Baked Spaghetti Pie
Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 packet spaghetti
- ½ cup black olives, chopped
- 1 medium-sized onion, diced
- ½ cup tomato puree
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes
- ¼ tsp red pepper
- ¼ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 green pepper, chopped in rings
- ½ cup Cheddar cheese soup
- ¾ cup Velveeta cheese, shredded
- salt to taste
Cook meat, onion and green pepper till light brown. Reduce heat and add Cheddar cheese soup, tomato puree and cherry tomatoes and stir for 5 minutes. Add red pepper, garlic salt, oregano, pepper and salt to taste and let it simmer for 30 minutes. In a separate pan boil water and cook the spaghetti. Drain and rinse it with cold water and set it aside. Line a baking dish with butter and add the cooked ingredients. Add the shredded Velveeta cheese over it and top it with black olives. Bake it in a preheated oven of 350 ºC for about 45 minutes.
Spaghetti Pie with Cottage Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 packet spaghetti
- 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, cut in rings
- ½ can cottage cheese
- ¼ cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ tsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup ground tomato
- 5 oz.canned tomato
- 5 - 10 pepperoni pieces
- 2½ tbsp butter
- 2 eggs, whisked
- ½ lb minced meat
- ½ tsp oregano
- salt to taste
Preheat oven to 300 ºC. Boil spaghetti in salted water and drain. Melt butter and Parmesan cheese and stir it with spaghetti. Beat the eggs and mix it with the spaghetti and cheese mixture. Bake this mixture in the oven for about 15 minutes. On a medium flame cook the meat, onion and green pepper until the meat and onion turn golden brown. Add seasonings, tomato paste and the canned tomatoes and cook till the ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Transfer the contents into a baking dish, add the cooked spaghetti and cottage cheese. Cover it and bake it for 5 minutes until the cheese becomes bubbly. Take out the baking dish from the oven and remove the lid. Garnish it with pepperoni and shredded Mozzarella cheese and bake for about 15 minutes or until cheese melts. If you want to have a tangy flavor you can also add Gorgonzola cheese.
Italian Spaghetti Pie
Ingredients
- 5 oz. spaghetti
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ½ tsp. garlic salt
- 450 gm spaghetti sauce
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- ½ lb minced beef
- ½ cup celery, finely chopped
- ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
- salt to taste
Cook the spaghetti and rinse it with hot water and keep aside. Take a medium-sized skillet and cook the meat and celery till it turns brown. Add mushrooms and spaghetti sauce and stir it continuously. Reduce the flame to a low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Bake the mixture for about 15 minutes in an oven that is preheated at 350 ºC. Mix the spaghetti with Parmesan cheese, eggs, and garlic salt. Transfer the spaghetti mixture to a baking dish and spread the meat mixture evenly on top. Bake it till the top turns brown and a crust it formed. Stand the mixture for about 10 minutes. Garnish it with remaining Parmesan cheese and celery and serve.
