Soy Yogurt Recipe

Ingredients
  • Homemade soy milk, 5 cups
  • Plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar, 4 to 5 tablespoons
Preparation Method

Take a medium-sized saucepan and heat the soy milk till it becomes warm. Now stir in the sugar and continue mixing till it completely dissolves. Add the vanilla extract to the milk and remove it from the heat. Allow the milk to cool down completely before adding plain yogurt. After the ingredients have been added, pour this mixture into an airtight container and place it in an incubator for about 5 to 6 hours. Check the yogurt for sourness. If you have achieved the desired sourness, place the container in the refrigerator for about 12 to 13 hours before serving.
