Sounding Off

I have had a rough day. It was Valentine's Day, not my favorite holiday by any means. My girlfriend refused to let me sleep in and spent an hour nagging at me until I finally got up. I know, I know, you think I should've just gotten up and spent the day with her, right? The night before she had told me about how much she was going to enjoy just lying in bed with me, AND she set the alarm for 1:00 in the afternoon. WTF?

And then...We went out to eat at a Chili's. It was a nice atmosphere, everything was clean and the food was good...BUT...the customers there were assholes! Yes, not the waitress, but the customers! I was offended by the behavior of the other guests. They were very, very rude to the young lady that was serving us. An older couple was seated to my left and both of them had no business being in public! They were SOOOO rude. I hate it when people treat the PEOPLE that work in public places like they are their PROPERTY. They are people with very difficult jobs and do not get paid enough to be PERFECT. Do you ever notice that every time you go to a restaurant the waitress never gets your order right, or the cashier always charges you too much? Chances are, the problem isn't really them, it's you, asshole.

After all that mess, the evening went fairly well and my girlfriend went back home, only because she had to be at work very early in the morning and wanted a good night's sleep (I am a night person, thus she was better off in her own bed, alone). It was closing in on midnight, and I began flipping through the channels in search of news. I had devoted the entire day to her and I wanted to catch up on current events. Hillary Clinton pisses me off. What a bitch. I am so sick of her! Now she's criticizing Obama for being a great speaker. What a frigid c-word. Does anyone agree with me? ERRR!
