Sores in Nose

Just as development of sores on other parts of the body is possible, enduring painful sores in the nose may also be experienced. Sores in nose are caused due to various reasons. The range of causes navigates from being minor to severe in nature. If you have been intentionally administering nasal solutions, or accidentally coming in contact with fumes having a pungent odor, then there is a probability that you have developed sensitivity toward these odors. These fumes may trigger the eruption of sores. Ensure that you do not expose yourself to these forms of substances to prevent the development of sores in nose.
• Irritation of the hair follicle present inside the nose can also cause this medical disorder. Pulling the long hair present inside the nose may cause a cut or tear; thereby, resulting in nose sores. Bruising the nose due to any reason is also one of the cause for it. Cuts in the nose are responsible for this.
• Getting your nose pierced - though a lesser known cause - could also be the referred culprit. Your nose may turn sore, sporting a bulb-like formation on the insides of the nostril.
• Nose sores can also be observed as a result of nasal impetigo and herpes simplex.

Indicants of Developing Nose Sores
Appearance of bumps, and reddening of the infected area are some of the commonly observed symptoms of sores in nose. Lesions will be observed on the insides of the nose. In some cases, irritation and itching will also be experienced in the area. At times, these sores tend to hurt when they are touched. Also, due to the presence of sores, discharge of blood, and pus will be observed from the nostrils.

Before you start with the treatment, knowing the underlying reason for sores might help in alleviating the condition. Rinsing the interiors of your nose regularly will help in clearing the bacteria; thus, aiding in the reduction of sores. Make sure that your hands are clean whenever you touch your nose. Else, instead of alleviating the sores in nose, the condition may lead to an aggravated state. Do not use medicines without consulting the doctor. The nose being vascular, will immediately absorb the medicine. Thus, if self-medication is not appropriate, it could have an adverse effect on the body. Hence, the medicines which are used for this purpose should be the ones recommended by the doctor.
