Somewhere Between Hell and Nowhere...

Poem...
Free me from my torments, they bind me to you.
Feed me salvation, for I crave old life.
I wonder from your light, to run with the shadows.
And dare dream of forgotten, seductive worlds.

If you fallow, I will not lead.
If you cry, I will not bleed.
For our departure, you bare no blame.
But I must return to the darkness, from which I came.

Back to the whores, and the slums, and the streets of aimless hope.
Back to the dirt, the gunshots, and desperate screams of misery.
Where souls linger, and flowers die.
Where children fall, but never cry.

Your eyes would burn, if I were to show…
The unwashed masses, with nowhere else to go.
And your heart would never dare to conceive.
How they shine, so graceful and free…
