Someday

Being left behind I guess…
I hide these feelings behind lock and key
In hopes of you someday discovering me
I hold back all of my delusional dreams
Keeping them at bay from you

I hold all of the painful tears
Watching you walk down with a new fantasy
I wish and pray that you will see me
Though as I peer I see you only have eyes for her

I keep the one dream you held dear
But I can see you have let it slip away
I can't let my heart keep breaking
Just because I am no longer your fairytale...
