Some Sort Of Regret
The first verse (the first four lines) just popped into my mind the other day..... the rest is just.....,
The blood on my shirt
The gun in my hand
I look at your face
But don’t understand
I stare into your eyes
They are crying in pain
I am shouting for help
Though, it seems it’s in vain
The misty look in your eyes
The tortured look on your face
Do you see how we break down?
Then find ourselves in a daze
Lost in despair
I’m choking – no air
Then I feel the darkness surrounds me
My head’s in a whirl
I mean, I’m just a girl,
And I never meant to harm you
The gun in my hand
I look at your face
But don’t understand
I stare into your eyes
They are crying in pain
I am shouting for help
Though, it seems it’s in vain
The misty look in your eyes
The tortured look on your face
Do you see how we break down?
Then find ourselves in a daze
Lost in despair
I’m choking – no air
Then I feel the darkness surrounds me
My head’s in a whirl
I mean, I’m just a girl,
And I never meant to harm you
