Some Small Poems

1. Like a gentle blowing breeze,
On a hot and humid day,
Your love floats by me,
Without a word to say,
Like pinecones in the trees,
To birds high in the sky,
Your love has forsaken me,
To the ground with an infinitesimal sigh.

2. With an emerald on a ring, a ring upon your hand,
We will live together in peace,
In our house and by the sand,
With a laugh and a cry,
With a jump and a sigh;
We walk the road of happiness,
Now married and bonded are we.

3. Like a memory in your head, a friend is always there, w
With a tissue when you cry,
And when your sick to hold your hair,
They are always there to help you,
No matter the trap you're in,
Because friendships like a memory,
A song that never ends.

4. You see a stranger walk,
Down the dark side of the street,
You really want to greet them,
But you don't know how you'll meet,
You try to run to catch them,
But they just disappear,
Was it a figment of your imagination,
Or something peculiar and real.

5. They just want to be friends,
You would like to be more,
But if you said you loved them,
They would start heading for the door,
You keep on smiling,
Hoping today will be the day,
When you become more than friends,
But friends you'll always stay,
But maybe that day will come,
And maybe it will not,
But at least you guys are friends,
So live with what you got.

6. I was all alone, and you so far away,
There was nothing for me to do,
No words for me to say,
I longed and I waited,
For the day you would return,
And bring me back into your arms,
And hold me forever more.
