Some Places in Kauai you must Visit

Find out some of the best spots on the Garden Island of Kauai
Kauai is famous for its lush vegetation, canyons, sandy coasts and miles long white beaches. Among these, there are some very special places which should never be missed while on travel to the Island of Kauai. One of these is the Na pali coast located in the northwest of Kauai. Visiting the Na Pali coast of Kauai will give you chances of watching stunning views of deep valleys, sharp mountains and surreal beauty of sparkling waterfalls, hidden in the green bluffs. Things to see here are the breathtaking views of Hanakapiai waterfalls, Hanakapiai valley, Kee beach, Kalalau beach and Kalalau valley. That is some awfully nice real estate.

You can explore the Na Pali coast on foot by hiking the Kalalau trail which is 11-mile long and considered as most difficult trails for hiking. If you do not want to do the strenuous hike, then, other options available are to explore it by catamaran or having a bird’s eye view of deep valleys by a helicopter. Never try to get close to waters, for snorkeling or swimming near to Na Pali coast because waves from the ocean can carry you and no guard will come to rescue.

Kauai has no night life in most of its parts but visiting the Coconut coast at the eastern side of Kauai Island, will offer you sunset lighting activities, hula, and local Hawaiian music. You can find all of this, daily, for free, on the Kuhio Highway on the Coconut Marketplace after 5 pm. Furthermore, hiking the steadily uphill Nounou Mountain trail, visiting the historical Heiau temple, old Kapaa town, scenic Opaekaa Falls and Keahua Arboretum having eucalyptus trees in wonderful setting, are some of the special activities you can do in Coconut Coast of Kauai. Watching the lava-rock temple, Poliahu Heiau, of Kauai’s last king, is also a treat to watch. By the way if you are visting the island you may be interested in looking at some Kauai Real Estate

Waimea Canyon, also known as the grand canyon of the pacific, is an amazing place to visit for its reddish lava beds. Having a length of 12 miles with depth as deep as 3567 feet, Waimea Canyon is not big as the Grand Canyon but, reminds everyone, of the Grand Canyon if they have seen it earlier. You can do hiking and have a bird’s eye view of the Waimea River that cuts the canyon deeper and wider. If you are a biker, then, you can have the scenic views of Waimea canyon on a fabulous 12-mile downhill bike ride from Waimea Canyon to the ocean.
