CHAPTER 5

"Is she asleep?" I heard a raspy voice ask.
"Ya been out for about an hour since I woke up." I heard Conners voice say.
"Oh why is she here and not in my room?" It was Seth. My eyes were still closed and I kept them closed.
"I asked her to stay with me." Conner said.
"Why?" Seth asked.
"Because if I don’t make it I want an Angel by my side." Conner said and I felt like smiling at that but I didn’t.
"Your mom says that you wouldn’t stop asking for her." Seth said and I felt like slapping him.
"Angel." He said and for a moment I thought he knew I was awake.
"Whatever." Seth said and I could picture him rolling his eyes.
"And why would she want to be at your side? I mean after this morning…." Conners voice trailed off.
"Shut up Conner." Seth said and I wanted to slap him.
"Make me." Conner said
"I will." Seth said and I opened my eyes to a very bright light and with my free hand covered my eyes.
"Hey! Your awake!" Conner said happily.
"Ya I am." I said and sat up.
I looked around and saw Seth he had cuts and bruises but that was all he wasn't that bad.
"Whats going on?" I asked pretending to be confused.
"Nothing we were just talking." Conner said and gave me a small smile.
"bout what?" I asked
"Nothing." They both said then glared at each other and I busted out laughing,
"Whats so funny?" They asked again together.
"Nothing." I said still laughing.
"Dude that’s not cool." Seth said a little pissed and my good mood was gone.
"Whats not?" I asked.
"That you wont tell why your laughing." He said

"Why do you care?" I asked and smiled sweetly at him and he glared at me.
"Stop." He said pissed.
"No." I said and I felt Conners hand tighten around mine.
"God damn it." Seth said and started to walk towards me.
"What are you going to do?" I asked my eyes locked on his hand.
"You need to knock it off! I mean it Angel." He said stopping right at the end of Conners bed.
"Or what?" I asked
"Or ill slap you again." He said and smiled I was shocked how could he just say that? How could he?
"You even touch me and I swear to god ill cut your dick off in you sleep." I said pissed as hell.
"Try it." He said and took a step closer to me.
"Stop it Seth." Conner said trying to sit up.
"Lay down." I scolded.
"Or what?" He asked playfully.
"Don’t start." I said a little to aware that Seth was watching us.
"Dude that’s just sick." Seth said.
"What?" Conner asked.
"You and my sister." Seth said pretending to gag.
"Screw you." Conner said and tried not to smile.
"Oh fuck off." Seth said and grabbed my arm but I yanked free of him and glared at him.

"Don’t touch me." I said and felt like punching him.
"Seth I think you should get out." Conner said Seth glared at him but left.
"Wow." I said and Conner smiled at me.
"You could say that." He said and leaned forward and kissed me.
"Ya I could and I think I just did." I said and he laughed.
"Ya whatever." He said still laughing.
"OK enough about this and that how are you feeling?" I asked hopeful.
"Fine of course I think its you that makes the pain go away." He said and smiled at me.
"Ya ya ya and like I say to other people and a fat-" I started to say.
"Man can beat you in a race I know." He finished it for me and I smiled.
"You know its kinda creppy that you know that by heart." I said laughing.
"You always say it when you know someones lying to you or when you think something cant happen." He said rolling his eyes.
"Oh ya now I know your feeling well." I said and laughed.
"Duh." He said laughing.
"OK I'm gonna get something to eat you want something?" I asked standing up.
"Nah I'm fine but maybe a little kiss before you go?" He asked smiling like a little kid.
"You have to earn it first." I said jokingly.
"And how do I do that?" He asked.
"Get better." I said and went and got some food.

I was on my way back to Conners room when I saw Seth going into Conners room. What was he doing. I walked up and I could hear them talking.
"So now after just one fight your moving in on my sister?" Seth asked.
"Hey you’re the one who blew are cover." Conner said.
"Blew are cover?! Man I didn’t do it on purpose!" He seemed to scream. What the fuck is going on.
"Shes mine now Seth even if you don’t like it." Conner said.
"God damn it!" Seth said.
I knocked on the door and the room went silent.
"Who is it?" Conner asked sounding mad.
"Um Angel." I said not touching the door.
"Shit." I heard Seth say.
"Come back later." Conner said.
"Whatever." I said rolling my eyes and dumping the food in the trash and leaving the hospital.
