Some Light In The Darkness 4

As I walked down the hall in the hospital I felt yet again like I was being watched I turned my head and scanned the room. Nobody was watching me.

"Angel?" Mom asked as she walked up tears still in her eyes.

"Is he ok?" I asked

"They say that Seth is fine but C-Conner might not make it" She said tears going down her face.

"Oh god." I said tears falling from my eyes.

"He’s been asking for you." She said nodding.

"I’ll go see him." I said and walked over to his door.

I opened the door and looked in. He was there have cast and other crap on him.

"Hey sexy." He said with a weak voice.

"Hey hot stuff." I said trying not to cry.

"What’s wrong with you?" He asked me trying to get up.

"Oh stay down!" I said and walked up to him and placed a hand on him. He fell back and grabbed my hand and held on to it.

"What do they have to say?" He asked looking at the door.

"You might not make it." I said and tears fell from my eyes. And he reached up and brushed them away.

"Don’t cry." He said and smiled.

"Ya your going to make it." I said and smiled down at him.

"Ya no need to worry." He said and I grabbed a chair with my free hand and sat down next to him.

"If I wasn’t Seths best friend would you date me?" He asked and I felt like I might cry.

"In a heart beat." I said and smiled at him threw my tears.

"I love you." He said and looked into my eyes.

"Oh god Conner." I said and started to cry harder.

"Please don’t cry Angel please don’t cry." He said and started to brush them away.

"I’m so sorry.. I can’t help it." I said and smiled at him and tried to stop crying just for him.

"Will you stay with me just in case I die?" He asked in a small voice.

"Conner." I said and felt the tears starting to come again.

"I just want an angel by my side." He said and looked into my eyes.

"I’ll stay." I said and leaned down and kissed his forehead.

"Will you kiss me?" He asked when I pulled away.

"What?" I asked startled.

"Please?" He asked me looking in my eyes.

"Conner." I said and leaned down towards him.

His lips meet mine and it felt like heaven. His lips were soft and warm almost sweet.

When the kiss was over he smiled and his eyes slowly closed and he drifted off to sleep.

I watched him sleep and smiled. He was so cute.

"How is he?" Asked his mom as she walked in.

"Fine hes sleeping." I said and then I felt her eyes on my hand which was still in his.

"Is there something going on?" She asked in a soft voice.

"No he just needed me." I said and looked down at him sleeping.

"Well he was set on seeing you he wouldn’t stop asking for you I had to tell him that you were with Seth just to get him to stop." She said watching me.

"Angel." He muttered in he’s sleep.

"If there’s not anything going on then why does he say your name in his sleep?" She asked. She sounded pissed.

"Just before he went to sleep he said he wanted an angel by his side. So I’m his Angel." I said and smiled.

"That’s very sweet." She said and smiled.

"Ya I kinda tired so I’m just ganna take a small nap." I said and leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes and before I fell asleep I heard the door open then close as she left
